Dr. V is a professional, knowledgeable and highly skilled practitioner. He approaches his patients with a kind, personable and intuitive nature. Dr. V listens intently and uses this information to guide treatment as well as the depth and content of his feedback for each patient. He and his staff are multilingual and their demeanor as well as office aesthetics are comfortable and welcoming to people of all walks of life. Those potential clients with a high value on punctuality and timeliness are advised to consult w/ Tina for the best time to schedule appointments. Dr. V is efficient and yet thorough - spending as much time as needed with each patient and often treats several at the same time depending on what their needs are. I have had appointments go quickly, in and out in 20-30 minutes, and others Ive been there for 2 hours. Ive never spent more than 5 minutes in the waiting area during any visit. I drive about an hour from NH to see Dr. V and have recommended him to numerous family members and friends who report having similar experiences. He even answers his phone during non-office hours when one would typically expect an answering service or message machine. On two occasions he came in on his day off to alleviate pain and maintain continuity of treatment. I am a doctoral level practitioner myself and recommend Dr. V without reservation. He is an outstanding provider as well as a humble human being.

Dr. Velez and his team are nothing short of magnificent. I have been going to Baystate as a patient for five years and it now feels like a second home to me, very warm and inviting. As a physical therapist I have always been interested in treating my patients holistically, mind, body and soul. Dr. V does this for me and for all of the other patients I have witnessed him treating. In this way he has been my teacher. He also holds his patients accountable for attending their sessions and following his advice. He helps his patients to become active in their healing process rather than passive. He empowers them, and they get better. With him, I have overcome injuries that otherwise have may have required surgery. He has also helped me to gain perspective in tougher times. I have referred dozens of patients to him and they all say the same thing. "He is great! He is wonderful! I feel so much better! Finally, someone who really cares." Dr Raul Velez has definitely changed my quality of life for the better. Never have I met a doctor who cares so much about his patients and their well being in all aspects and listens! He is truly one of a kind. Just going into his office Tina and Mandy are always so kind and caring. They really know their patients and are so accommodating if you need to be seen with out an appointment. He has been treating me for MS symptoms and I can truly say he has made a huge difference in my life. There are days that I can not function due to weakness in my legs and he uses laser therapy that completely makes my legs feel stronger. I can not stress enough how much he cares about his patients and their well being. I highly recommend seeing Dr. Velez and his team. You will be so happy you did! Russ C. August 6th 2011 - Dr. Velez has given me my health back and if you dont have your health, you dont have much. No more nagging aches and pains from old scar tissue and no more lower back pain! In fact, my lower back has never felt any stronger! Im 45 years old and have been seeing Chiropractors for 15 years, Dr. Velez did for me in less than one year what multiple other Chiropractors couldnt do for me over 15 years. If you are looking for a Chiropractor who will take the time to do whats right with a very integrative approach and get you back to your optimal wellness, then Dr. Velez is for you! I have been a patient of Dr Velez for 17 years, in the beginning to address an older nagging upper back injury which was quickly addressed and resolved with treatment. I can not begin to express my deep gratitude for his compassionate healing and sharing his knowledge to address so many areas (allergies, stress, diet to name a few) of my day to day life. I have been going to Dr, Velezs for about five years now and he has helped me a great deal. One particular thing is I had my gallbladder out two years ago and got scar tissue from the surgery; after telling Dr. Velez he did a laser treatment and massaging and the pain miraculously started disappearing. He is excellent at listening to what you say, and has made all the difference in my life. Aside from adjustments in the office, Dr. Velez gives great tips and tricks to continue at home. He gets an A in my book every time; there is something for everyone here and he can make all the difference in your health as well!

I have only been going to Dr. Velez for a short time, but in that time my quality of life has skyrocketed. I never thought I would be able to go a day without feeling pain. I went to see Dr. Velez for treatment of my lower spine. I am pregnant and after numerous visits of Physical Therapy was getting no relief. Dr. Velez has not only helped my back injury but continues to help me with any pain or discomfort I am experiencing. He does not just treat the injury, he treats the whole person. Everytime I step into his office he approaches it as a new day and is very attentive to my daily situation. It is so nice to be treated like a person and not just an injury! You dont find a chiropractor with so much credibility, education and experience like Dr. Raul Velez. i must say that he is an excellent doctor with a great staff who is there for you and your health. they all care about how you are doing and how you are feeling. All my family gets treated, my parents, my brother, my wife and my brother and our sons who also were about a month old when he saw them. you not only need a medicine for back problems you should see Dr Velez to help you with Neck,back and any muscles pain.
