For someone that hasent been to the dentist in 7+ years the staff made me feel very comfortable. From the receptionist to the dental assistant,dental hygenist, and dentist everyone was very professional, kind and most importantly were VERY GENTAL. I am 6 months pregnant and will definately bring my child here when she is ready for here first dental cleaning!!!! The only thing I would recommend changing is how patients contact Kool Smiles. When I called to make my first appointment I didnt know nor was I told I was calling a call center (to make my appointment), all along I thought I was calling the actual Kool Smiles (Roxbury, Ma site). Although they were professional there were things they forgot or neglected to tell me in regards to what I should bring to my first appointment, since I was pregnant. In addition I needed x-rays to send to another hospital and the call center said to not worry because they could email them and they would be ready for me when I get to the facility. Thank goodness I called back to confirm because the x-rays were never sent. I was connected to the Roxbury site and they recommended for the future, to ask to be connected directly to the site. I asked why and the receptionist said that there are some people at the call center who are not up to date with the policies. So in the future I will ask to be connected directly to the site.

We had to wait for a long time in the room for the doctor. My kids go to Kool Smiles for the orthodontist. The Assistant was doing the Doctors work and we had to wait a long time each time she finished a task for the doctor to approve it. I think they book too many patients at once and the Doctor needs to use his assistant to provide the service. My concern is that im paying to see the Doctor not the assistant waiting 20-35 minutes in a room is not acceptable. To give you an idea she called us at 3:00pm and we left the clinic at 4:30. The assistant only took about 5min she was awesome I wish she was the doctor. Then waited 20min Doctor will come in check said "-great job now do this..." Leaves she does the work only take 5-7min and we wait for the Doctor again. You get the picture. My kids like to go there because its kids friendly and the staff is nice, but a little ghetto. If you decide to visit Kool Smiles dont expect a quick visit, but the service will be good.

I have been going to kool smiles for a few years now. I really enjoy being a patron of their services. the staff are very polite and kind. I enjoy the time that I am being worked on by the doctor Truong. She is so professional and very great with her skills of filling my cavities. And the teeth cleaning , is a very great experience. and thanks to those dentist that have clean my teeth over the past six years or so. I do think I shall be going to kool smiles in the future. I took my daughter for the first time for her dental check up and cleaning, she was really nervous and scared. The employees made sure to put her in a private room and explained all the instruments that were going to be used. She felt very comfortable and her check up went really well. Cornelius made her feel very welcomed and was so warming when he was taken her x-rays, she loved it and understands how important it is to keep her teeth clean and wants to know when she will be coming back for her next check up. Thank you so much for making it a wonderful experience for my family.

My weight was about an hour and a half and my appointment was at like 11 and I get seen until 12:30 when they actually put me in the room I had to wait for about another 25 minutes the hygienist that came in the room very loud ghetto all Ill be right back never came back someone else had to come back and wait on me so my experience wasnt that great but the customer service was excellent I didnt like the fact that I have to fill out new patient paperwork every time I come hopefully that gets better as it was promised to me

I was doubtful because last year at the Kool Smiles in Mattapan they were HORRIBLE. There was a huge space, amazing play area , touch screen games to use. They took us in quickly which is important Liam cant be in one area, with ASD and hyperactivity. My son has soft teeth so no matter what I do, the cavaties a comin!! It is a sensitive subject and they were very delicate. Love them

The experience at Kool Smiles in Roxbury was great. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which made the visit comfortable for my son. He enjoyed meeting the dentist and having his teeth cleaned and examined. I believe this visit made the difference in how he will move forward in the proper hygiene care for his teeth.
