I found these folks when I Googled for a dentist in Lynn and saw these reviews, so I went in. I explained to them that I go through extreme anxiety every time I go to the dentist. After several appointments, Ive now seen three of their dentists, and each of them was wonderfully patient and compassionate with me. The first one, Dr. Nowak, was able to fix a pair of partials for me in minutes, though Ive had them for years and they never fit. Then Dr. Sidhu beautifully repaired a broken tooth with minimal discomfort. And then today, I went in for my first cavity filling, which required the dreaded deep drilling, and I expected the worst. With my hands clenched to the chair like an astronaut preparing for g-force liftoff, I asked for a topical, and Dr. Hong said "We wont need it." Incredibly, this guy injects a shot of Novocaine into my gums, which I literally never felt. How does that work? How do you stick a needle into someones gums, and they dont feel it? Then he spends ten minutes drilling, telling me how long each of the three different drills is going to be used and how long it will last. And about twenty minutes later, my other broken tooth looks like new. Im genuinely impressed. I just wish I hadnt had to go through all those earlier years of torture at other places. So glad I found these people. Even the receptionists are friendly, and they all speak a second language. I cannot recommend these people too highly, and I cannot think of anything I didnt like. Trust them, and make the call. Dont be scared!

I recently paid a visit to the Alegre Dental Center as a walk-in patient. I saw that they advertised teeth whitening and I had been interested in this procedure for quite some time. I made my initial appointment with ease and left a deposit. My appointment was conveniently scheduled for a Friday after work( which is usually very hard for me to get). I went to the appointment and was greeted very nicely by the front desk staff and I filled out the initial paperwork. I was then escorted one of the rooms in order have the procedure done. Upon inspection of my teeth the practitioner told me that my teeth were already white and that in her honest opinion she wasnt sure that the procedure would give me the results that I wanted. She compared the whitest whitened tooth with my own and she was correct. This practitioner informed me that she was there to offer the best care possible and that she did. Her honesty blew me away! Not only was I pleased that my teeth were already pretty white, but I was overjoyed that it this world of consumerism and beauty (short cuts)-Im guilty :) That there are genuine people in this profession who are honest and not out to just get a dollar. I didnt need the whitening, however I will be a patient. I have also referred my husband, daughter and friends. Thank you very much for your honesty.

I recently went into this office for an appointment for my mother, I went into the room with her and the visit was alright until the end. As we were waiting for the dentist to come back and finish the cleaning, I overheard one of the front office ladies with blonde short hair yelling at one of the girls in the next room not to "waste the wipes and only use one to clean the whole room". I did not like the sound of this, and was going to switch dentists for my mother until I Went back into the office for a followup visit and decided to give the place one more try before really letting it go, I actually subtly asked one of the interns Katerina about my concern with the cleanliness. She immediately reassured me that I had nothing to worry about because her kind and caring attitude along with her educated explanation about the disinfectants made me feel at ease. Her professional and mature attitude made me surprised that she doesnt actually work there. Very pretty and intellectual girl with a good head on her shoulders. She helped change my mind about the office and as long as I can confide in caring staff like her I will have no worries.

I was a patient here since they opened and one of their receptionist was having a affair with the father of my children whom at the time was living with me during their affair. She took it upon her self to search my medical records (dental) and post it online (fb) a week letter one of the dentist send me a letter "letting me go" as a patient for "missing" a appointment. I am also a medical staff and i know my rights and hippa laws i could of taken this to a higher "legal" level, becouse of my beliefs i let this one go (God doesnt like ugly), Anyone who knows me knows i like to help everyone is why i share my experiences with whomever i encounter. My friends and family boycott this local dentist. Best of luck!

I was very pleased when I had my dental visit. The front desk was very nice, and friendly. I was very nervous but one of the dental assistant Nika calmed me down because i was very nervous about seeing the dentist.But she was very nice, had a great sense of humor she made me laugh and my nerves went away, she calmed me down. Also the doctor (Dr.Malo)was very nice , he had a good personality , explained everything he was doing very well. all in all I would recommend this dental office to anyone because it has a great staff

Ive been there recently for a dental appointment, and i will definitely come back!! I got an appointment very quick because i was in pain. But what i liked the most, i dont speak a lot of English and dental terms are hard to understand. They helped me filling out paper work and to understand what do i need to do!!People with a different nationalities works there and looks like they speak the most popular langueges !!I would recommend this office to my friends!!

I recently visited Alegre Dental center for my appointment. I saw Dr. Sidhu for cleaning and some fillings. Dr. Sidhu was very nice and explained the whole procedure in detail before starting. She was very gentle while performing the procedure and also explained the follow up instructions very well. Front desk staff was also very courteous and was quick to answer any questions. Overall experience was pleasant and I will definitely go back. Highly recommended.

I recently visited this Dental Center as I needed some emergency work done. A friend referred me and told me they would see me right away. They were able to see me the next day and complete the work that I needed done. The office is very clean and the staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The helped me out in a bind and I am very pleased to have found out about them.

Although a bit farther from Somerville, from where I live; Alegre Dental is a nice place worth going to. The staff are extremely knowledgeable in their work and friendly. Ill definitely be going back to this place, not just because of their prices, but also the overall experience.
