Working in the medical profession in a Boston/Harvard teaching hospital, managing a home health team and studying to be a physician myself, I am extremely vigilant and critical of medical procedurals, office etiquette and most importantly, physician to patient care. I vouch with certainty that my appointment with Dr. Kuljic and his support staff from beginning to end was of the utmost professional and compassionate dentistry visit, I have experienced to date. It is incredibly important for a patient to understand what his/her appointment will entail and the necessary recourse treatment plan if applicable, to which, Dr. Kuljic and his staff informed me of each step in a chronological and systematic way, presented alternatives for comfort care/upkeep and reinforced multiple times that in the case I were experiencing any pain/discomfort that I would be taken care of and not to hesitate to reach out. Perhaps, one of the most profound instances of awe was that Dr. Kuljic kindly took me on as a patient knowing that my dental insurance is not accepted at his practice and made it financially feasible. I found the practice to be exceptional with regard to medical/health standards alone, yet the level of professionalism and compassion for patient care exceeded my expectations. Sincere appreciation for Dr. Kuljic and his team!

Dr. Kuljic is the best!! I can not recommend this dentist highly enough for both his skill and his easygoing temperament. I had 4 grafts done at once and the whole procedure was so painless that I didnt need pain medication nor did I need any ice for any swelling. As a contrast, I had 4 gum grafts done by another doctor 8 years ago where they took tissue from the roof of my mouth and it was so awful and painful for 5 weeks that I vowed I would never do it that way again. Its pretty amazing that dentistry has changed so much in that short time and that we can use the AlloDerm donor tissues now and have such an easier time of it. I would also like to compliment the staff- I was a very nervous patient and every single person there was so kind to me from start to finish. They never once made me feel like I was ridiculous for being scared even though I was literally shaking in the dentists chair for the first half hour of surgery. Recovery was so easy I could have gone to work the same day if I needed to. Dr. Kuljic was referred to me from an oral surgeon who said his work was "impeccable" and that he did the "best stitches" shed ever seen. She was right! My healing process has gone perfectly. His procedure of AlloDerm gum grafting has truly been a blessing for me. A+++++++

I had began my initial visit with Dr Kuljic several years ago. I found him to be very knowledgeable in all areas of dental restoration. I scheduled an appointment for a complete assessment of my teeth and what my options were. After taking photos of my teeth, bite, smile, I returned for a complementary hour consultation and was shown how my teeth and bite aligned and what was the best solution in dealing with overcrowding. I elected to have braces on my bottom teeth. Dr. Kuljic explained every detail and time frame of what would be done. He will ask your expectations and then explain what is possible for him to accomplish. I am very satisfied with the end result. His time frame was exact as to when the braces would come off. My entire bite was then realigned. I wish I had met Dr Kuljic long before now. I have received numerous complements on my smile and how fantastic my teeth look now. Dr. Kuljic and his entire staff are to be complemented. They are truly professional, attentive, friendly and caring.

I highly recommend this dentist office. I had not been to the dentist in a while and I cracked a molar, so I knew that I needed to take care of it. I went to Dentistry of Newburyport, and Dr. K was incredibly helpful and professional. He assessed the damage, and told me what he thought was the best option and why. Unfortunately, the best option was a root canal, but he had the time to do it that morning, so we dove right in. I was a little bit nervous, but Dr. K put me at ease. He is a very kind and personable man. The whole process was simple and went smoothly. Dr. K is certainly a professional and good at what he does. Everyone talks about how scary and what a big deal root canals are, but I didnt feel a thing. I was in and out with relative ease, and the staff were all very kind. I have gone to a few different dentists - some of them very good, but Dentistry of Newburyport is the best place I have been. I have definitely found my new dentist. Two thumbs up, for sure.

I have been a patient of Dr Kuljik for about 15 years - first at his office in Beverly, MA and now in Newburyport. As a child I was always afraid of the dentist. Painful for all procedures and the dentist was very old school in practice and equipment. Plus he had zero bedside manner! Being a patient of Dr Kuljik and his wife (both dentists at the practice) has made going to the dentist for both cleanings and procedures more than tolerable. The equipment, practices, hygienists and Drs revolve around making your experience painless and rewarding (having accessible the latest in everything from tooth whitening products to least invasive/safe procedures.) Both Dr Kuljik and his wife will always remember your name, ask you how you are and stop to talk to let you know your business (and your mouth!) matter. Thank you to the Dentistry of Newburyport team!

Staff is amazing! Doctors are amazing! I am not one who adores going to the Dentist however every time I walk into the office my anxiety is immediately at ease. I am always treated like an "old friend" vs. a patient and I love that. I have never felt more comfortable with a Doctor than I do with Dr. Mandic. She is always so calm, professional and pleasant to be around, I actually enjoy going in to see her. Thankfully I have not had any serious problems, just a few tough cavities. But Dr. Mandic has recently fixed me up, given me a good pep talk about keeping my teeth pretty :) and I cant wait to go back and see Karen in March for a good cleaning and a good laugh! Thanks to everyone at the Dentistry of Newburyport for helping me get over my fear of going to the Dentist on a regular basis!

I have been to several different dentists in my life for various reasons but after visiting this office, I feel like this is the first time where I feel confident that I will stay. Not only can they do all the things I need and not have to send me to three different specialists, but the staff was really friendly, helpful and professional. I saw Dr Kuljic and he put me at ease and made me laugh. He answered all my questions and I didnt feel rushed or like I was bothering him. He told me about why my jaw hurt all the time and actually has a way to help me. I felt like other dentists I have seen kind of danced around possibilities but he actually knew what he was talking about and explained it so I could understand. Im actually looking forward to my next visit!
