When I moved into the area a few years ago I went on the search for a new eye doctor. Although, this place isnt too close I am very glad I gave them a try, and its totally worth the drive each time. The entire staff is fantastic, in fact Dr. Katz is my favorite eye doctor, and this is from someone who has had 33 years of eye doctor visits. I also love how this place uses the latest and greatest technology. My recent trip I purchased a new pair of prescription sunglasses. Their prices are competitive and I they did an excellent job fitting them for me. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

I had a bad experience here once and was ready to move to a different Dr. but I was very impressed with how they handled the situation. The doctor called me personally (while on vacation) and expressed how sorry she was about the experience and was very eager to make it right with me. She explained how she wanted everyone who comes in to feel like family. When I went back in they were courteous and took the time explain some things I hadnt understood before. They were able to turn a negative experience into a positive one and I think it goes to show how much they appreciate their patients.

Dr. Katz is a great eye doctor, probably the most thorough that I have ever seen. I didnt feel like I was being rushed in and out during my eye exam- I couldnt believe how much time Dr. Katz spent with me during the eye exam. The staff is friendly and personably, but on top of that they have a great selection of eye glasses. I got my favorite Oliver Peoples frames which I wear all the time. If you live in Swampscott, Salem or Marblehead you should definitely check out Advanced Vision Center.

Very thorough examination, doctor clearly and patiently explained all the details and suggested annual follow-ups (I dont need glasses now, but might need in the future). Conveniently located on Vinnin Sq. (next to Petco), wide selection of frames and helpful staff with good sense of style. They even emailed me the paperwork and I had it all filled out when I showed up for test.

Super Stoked that Ive found my new eye care center! The staff is great and even booking my appointment was FLAWLESS! Before I could even tell the girl about my insurance she already knew it all. Called at 10am in the morning at 10:05am I was all set with my appointment time and date and copay information.
