I was charged $40 extra for program I dont need. Here is the story: I was told to bring my previous description, otherwise it would be $40 more. I didnt quite know why but I brought it with me. My eye condition doesnt change much as the result suggested, and I told the doctor I want the same contact lens which Ive been using for 3 years. However at the end of the exam, the doctor gave me the same contact lens and asked me put them on, WITHOUT informing me thats the so called "Contact Lens Progress Evaluation", and there was NO evidence suggested that I need a re-evaluation. The contact lens are exactly the ones Ive been using for the last 3 years, and I ended up paying $40 for a pair of them (true price is much much much less than that).

I went to NewtonEye for the first time last week. They were able to give me an appointment with only a weeks notice. When I went into the office, the front desk staff was nice. The assistant began to run the preliminary tests before my appointment time, which was nice because it meant less time wasted sitting around. The eye doc was good about explaining how my eyes were dry and she made me comfortable. The gentlemen that helped me pick out my frames were HILARIOUS! They were making me laugh and were great at being honest about which frames fit me best (instead of saying "yes" to each one, they said things like "I dont know that I like the edges of those..." etc. Overall, awesome experience and I will continue to go to NewtonEye.

My wife and I have been going to NewtonEye since Dr. Ellen Gillman was there. We went to her because we went to her Dad years ago. Our experience thee has always been good. Your website for the survey is confusing. Why do we need a map to show us where the office is if weve been there several times. I clicked on he button for Excellent service and then the map occurred full screen. When I went back to click on "I highly recommend . . . " nothing happened. Your service is better than your website for the survey. Great! Now I cant click on "Post." . . . only on "cancel." Gee! Now I figured out I have to click on the stars above so I can see "Post." Are you trying to control the review??????????

Ive been going to Newton Eye since before they moved to Wellesley and I consider it my favorite Eye Care Center. The staff is so polite and friendly, the service is quick but you dont ever feel rushed - quite the opposite of the Doctor. My favorite Optometrist is Dr. Lynn Wittman - an absolutely amazing person and professional. I am due for an eye exam and I want to purchase contact lenses - and there is no other place I would even consider going in the Newton / Wellesley area. My only complaint is they are lacking in cheap glasses - they arent over priced but they stock mostly high end brands.

Dr. Wittman and the staff at Newton Eye are fabulous. I was a patient with contacts and glasses and they took the time to be sure i had the right contacts for my lifestyle and that i was confortable with them. When I had Lasik last year, they made sure i had everything i needed before and after the surgury. They are helpful in understanding and working with insurance changes and explaining everything! I hope i never have to leave Newton Eye :)

I have changed eye doctors 3 times in the last 3 years and have been very dissatisfied with the level of service and follow through, until I went to Newton Eye. From the initial conversation over the phone to set up the appointment to a great eye exam and ordering experience, They have a good handle on VSP insurance and took the time to get my prescription right. I feel like I have finally found an practice that I can stick with.

My wife and I are newcomers since Fall 2013; Dr Wittman was referred to us and she has been incredibly helpful with some minor conditions we have - mine is chronic dry eye; Im amazed at the brand new test equipment and methods used there; Also their optometry lab made fantastic custom glasses for both of us last year. We are extremely pleased with all aspects of the service and care from Newton Eye. Thank you Dr Wittman!

NEWTONeye is one of the best doctors offices I have been to in a long time. The staff are friendly, engaging, and take the time to explain things that I may not be knowledgeable about. They are also incredibly generous with trying different brands of contacts. Clearly they are more interested in the patients comfort than selling a product. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new eye doctor.

Dr Wittman is quite extraordinary. She fully understood the difficulties I had been having with my prescription from a different provider (an opthalmologist, not an optometrist), and solved them for me quickly and expertly. The office has the highest tech equipment, but beyond that the staff are just wonderful - patient, good listeners, and expert at what they do. I would go nowhere else.

I was referred to DR Whitman by DR Freddo at that time his office was in Canada, I been going to Wellesley office since April 2015 She has been Wonderful great personality and very positive also extending herself in behalf of the clients to make sure thing are right an there clients are satisfied, Im so glad that DR Freddo referred me and other friends to the Wellesley Office.

Dr. Wittman and her staff are incredible. They are helpful by phone and in person. I am always impressed by how thorough each examination is. They never seem rushed, and they make you feel like youre top priority. They are clearly the experts in what they do. Its rare to find such a wonderful medical practice anywhere these days. Dr. Wittman fit me into her schedule early on a snowy Saturday. She spent plenty of time with me and the other patients she managed to juggle at the same time. Shes very creative and willing to try different contact lenses and combinations for multifocal vision. Im seeing better than I have in years with these new lenses!

I was looking for a new eye doctor and happened upon Newton Eye. How lucky was I to be seen by Dr. David Soll. He is one of the best Drs I have ever seen. He is gracious, thoughtful, friendly, and truly cares about his patients. It is evident that he truly loves being a doctor and helping others.

Ive enjoyed going to Dr. Soll for many years to take care of my poor eyesight. He is truly GREAT. He always takes good care of me and my eyes needs, near and far. I wear contacts and different glasses (far, near, and readers), and he always gives good advice on whether they need to be updated.
