As a Veteran I responded to the notice by Aspen Dental about providing Veterans with free dental care during June of this year. I asked other Veterans if it was true and was it really free. I received nothing but good feedback. I called up and made an appointment. When I got there i was treated with courtesy and respect and the first appointment went well. My teeth were inspected and was told I needed to come back (at no cost) to have a small cavity repaired and a split tooth prepared for a cap. I came for second visit which went well until the end. After the cavity was filled and the bad tooth prepared and a temporary cap put in place i was told to make and appointment to have the permanent cap placed. Upon leaving i was asked to step into an office. in the office i was told I would have to pay for the permanent cap and it would be about $1000.00. I did not know what to say as I was caught completely off guard. I was explained the staff were providing their time for free but the cap would need to be sent out to be made and they had to pay for that. As my wife and i are on fixed income and she is disabled this not in our budget. My concern is at no time during both visits was there anything said about paying for anything for any reason. If I had known I would not have let them work on the split tooth, but it was worked on and prepared with no mention of my having to pay for anything until it was too late. I now have temporary cap that will need to be replaced whether i want or like it or not. I do not believe it was intentional but I felt like I had been set up and now had to pay or be left with a temporary cap. Because i was not expecting to pay anything I was a little frustrated when told and forgot to mention we do have dental insurance. when it is all said and done I came down to a price that by redoing our budget we will be able to make monthly payments. I will be going back to get the work finished up and I believe I will be happy with the results. What I will do is also recommend Aspen Dental to Veterans during the special offer for Veterans but i will inform the Veteran to ask a lot of questions so there will be no unexpected surprises like mine. I would expect Aspen Dental to insure in the future they inform any Veterans (especially to older vets) that there may be cost and under what conditions. its only fair to the Veterans that trust Aspen Dental.

My experience begins with needing full upper & lower dentures. Ive had 3 appts so far with the last one being the big cahuna, where I had at least 12+ extractions. My teeth were in rough shape, above the gum line, so a 2 hr appt turned into 4.5 hrs, which went well past 8pm. This was due to all my teeth breaking off and requiring surgery to remove the roots, etc. Luckily, DDS Dr R. Yousif, along with Dental Assistant Angel, were my dental team, otherwise, I wouldve likely had to go home with a half removed grill and go thru all the numbing, etc again the next day? However, Dr Yousif & Angel stuck with me and got it done. I walked out with Immediate Dentures and a few prescriptions, all in one evening. Now, a few days later, Im healing up, with some mild discomfort, but I have a solid feeling, I could be in MUCH worse shape had I not gotten superb work done!

I finished my visit with Aspen Dental 2 days ago and I must say the staff there from the front office to the Doctor who saw me were just too friendly and kind. Something you rarely find in many places. The atmosphere is fun and happy that you forget your pain and aches. I love the fact that everyone ensures your well-being and make sure you get it. For a first-timer like me, I was so nervous but the assurance from staff calmed my nerves. The actual job went as scheduled and was done under the allocated time. I was really impressed. I am definitely visiting again and recommending Aspen to my many friends. Thank you Aspen Dentals, please keep striving for the best!

The call Centre made a mistake and the Benton Harbor Michigan location did not have room for me as they said they did. However they still got me in the doctor was able to take a look and get me started on some medicine, unfortunately the truth is just too far gone so I called back today and excruciating pain and he said if I can get right in there hell just pull the tooth if thats what I wanted. So he tried to go about things the way that they were supposed to but it just didnt work out and they were able to do me service. I cant remember the doctors name but he is very knowledgeable gave me all of my options and let me choose myself the Avenue I wanted to go.

Hesitant at first, but I absolutely loved the entire staff at Aspen Dental. They were ready to serve with professionalism and calmed my nerves within minutes of my arrival. I appreciated how once passing through the doors to the patient rooms they immediately begin the x-rays needed for a timely service. They were able to answer promptly all the questions and address any concerns that I had before proceeding with services that either I may not have needed or even wanted. After light humor moments and frequent smiles, by the time I left my spirits were lifted. Thank you staff! You rock.

I havent been to a dentist in about 13years. The staff were all very polite and down to earth. I had a lot of things going on being as I havent been into a dentist office for over a decade, but the staff were encouraging and helped me understand all the things that were going on. Most importantly they were able to help me understand my insurance coverage for my multiple procedures. Im extremely happy with my experience thus far with Aspen Dental.

Every vist always issues! Rough! .cant keep Drs in the office ..ther temp crowns are the worst ... my insurance need to rethink! They got new Drs I wonder how they will be .... most staff is nice.. always waiting!! In waiting room and in chair ..sometimes I wonder if they know what ther suppose to do .never prepared! ! But they have fixed ther mistakes ..and ty for that! Now if they can just fix the rest

This is the nicest dentist office I have been to. Never waited more than 5 or 10min to be seen for my appointment. Prices are reasonable even with dental insurance. I had my upper teeth pulled today and they did an excellent painless job and where very thorough. Dentist Yousif did my extraction and did a perfect job, was kind, courteous and very thorough. I recommend this Aspen office to everyone.

I am a new patient.my initial contact with the receptionist was very welcoming. I was checked in and after a short wait was called to the back. Everyone seemed to have a warm and calming demeaner.I have experienced dentists that didnt make me happy. Aspen at this point has given me confidence the level of dentistry from the entire staff will be very likeable.
