I have been going to University Medical Specialities since 1993. Thats 20 years of Excellent Service! I now live in South Haven and to this day, it is worth the drive every time. This wonderful staff always provides the best care. I never feel rushed or inconvenienced. If there is a problem, it is always communicated clearly and with understanding as a lay person; in other words, in plain English with kindness! We have never had to wait longer than the appointment we made. There is a sign in the waiting room that if youve waited longer than 20 minutes, please see the receptionist! And there is always an apology if there is an emergency! Whatever this place does with training their staff....they should present a program to train other facilities. ! do not see any other doctor unless it is referred by Dr. Daniel Reichert! :)

After Dr. Reichert retired, I called to make an appointment and they told me I would see a doctor by the name of Katrina. To make the story short, she is the reason I decided to leave University Medical Specialties and find another doctor. My experience was -0. Not that it was great before. Customer service and billing are the worse I have dealt with in that place. But I liked Dr. Reichert and I went there for him. He was very caring and would go the extra mile to help. I went there for 20 years, too long, and many people at the front desk behave like they are doing you a favor. Oh, well, now that Dr. Reichert is gone, I am too.

I have gone to University Medical Specialties since the time they opened. I have always been treated with kindness and respect and trust the diagnostic and treatment expertise of both Doctors Hamel - the ones whom I have seen the most often. Occasionally I have been seen by other medical providers there and have had good experiences with them as well. Over the years there have occasionally been wait times due to emergencies, but I was kept informed and even offered the chance to reschedule if needed. I dont hesitate to recommend this medical group.

This place deserves zero stars but it wouldnt let me post a review without giving them one. On average a normal yearly visit takes 3 hours because you have to wait 30 minutes for them to even call you back form the waiting room. Then you see a nurse for all of 5 minutes just to wait 45 to have your actual doctor come back. They also are horrible with faxing over information. 10/10 would recommend never coming here.
