I would like to start out by stating that Dr. Talley herself is a very personable doctor. I would love to continue my childs care through her but the staff are not friendly. I have never once been greeted with a smile or a Hello. When you take your child to the doctor you have probably missed work and been up with a sick child all night. When you arrive the doctor office it would be nice to be treated as if the individuals behind the desk were professional and courtious. Having my first child this past year I am learning alot about illness, doctors, and insurance. I am a working mom with good insurance and have never had trouble with it in the past. Recently I discovered that my childs vaccinations are not covered! OMG! I did not find this out until I first recieved a $300 bill that quickly jumped to $700 because of fees! I was unaware of the Health Dept. for vaccinations ect... As you working parents know times are tough. I have been making $100 payments a month to pay the bill off. I pay $50 every two weeks. My last payment did not go through and a woman by the name of Tina called me at WORK 3 times this week and my cell phone twice! I explained to her I would have to come in Friday and she asked me if I was sure and threatened to take me to collections by Monday. I have already paid several hundred dollars on the bill and I feel her threats and tone were very disrespectful considering I am a patient. I am sorry Dr. Tally has to loose patients because of others rude and rash behavior. When you consider a Dr. you must also consider the staff. Sincerely, Working Mom

I have used Dr. Hall for almost 2 years because I really like her and how she interacts with my children. However, I am so unbelievably upset with her staff. I have never been treated so rude before in my life. Some of the ladies act like they hate their job and really dont want to deal with my kids. My least favorite person in the office is Mackenzie who answers the phone, she answers with a grumpy voice and if you want help she thinks she can answer the question when she should transfer me to a nurse. Now My daughter has had a severe fever for 5 days now and I have seen 3 different doctors because instead of someone letting Dr. Hall know how worried and concerned I am they said they will relay the message. So now I have taken my daughter to get blood work over 24 hours ago and still have not heard back the results. Last night I was at kosairs until midnight and I am supposed to follow up with her doctor and I cant really do that because I cant get a hold of her. So What Is A Worried Mother To DO? Now she is at home with serious symptoms and her pediatrician has no idea.

My children have seen Dr. Hall for over 10 years. I have seen the office go through various stages of quality with support staff but it has been a continual improvement and I can honestly say that you will receive competent care with any of the providers at either location. We see Dr. Hall because she is so personable and interacts so warmly with the children. The others each have their own strengths so try each of them out and get a feel for who you like best. I saw a complaint here about the receptionist, Mackenzie, and I couldnt disagree more. She is very prompt and is good about finding appointments that work with our schedule. She is very informed and yet never takes it upon herself to give medial advice like the previous receptionist did who worked there years ago before her. I have never seen her be short with people or unfriendly. I have recommended Kids First Pediatrics to many friends and will continue to do so.

Ive been coming here this location for four years now Ive never been told that no food or drinks are allowed in the building 94 degrees outside office lady comes up and confiscates mine and my two daughters water bottle because my six year old spilled water in the waiting area teen went to tell them they sent her the clean it up herself and I realize she hadnt cleaned it all up They confiscated my childrens water bottles informing us that no food or drinks are allowed in the building

Dr. Hall is amazing! My three boys love her! She is very caring and compassionate. No matter what the visit is for she always makes my kids feel at ease, and myself as well. She makes sure you have all the information you need about your child before you leave. The staff at Kids First Pediatrics Specialist are wonderful as well. And all appointments are on schedule, I have never had to wait when my child has had an appointment.

Rude staff, plus they make you pay for the Dr. Signing a piece of paper about any records. Wont be returning thankfully.
