I researched the whole LASIK topic (procedures, equipment, expected results, etc.) for almost a year before finally pulling the trigger. And while I live in Southern California, I chose Dr Levinson over everybody else, mainly for 3 reasons: 1) His website was one of the two best that I had come across in the country regarding depth of information. 2) They have access to the latest/greatest equipment in the business. 3) When I called the office, Dr Levinsons staff answered every question I asked over the phone, without hesitation. They were very candid about the whole process & I felt like I was dealing with people I could relate to. None of the other 1/2 dozen places I called even came close in this area. Before the procedure, my eyes were roughly 20/35 with some astigmatism, and I was at a 2.50 with the readers. Now 4 months after the procedure, Im a strong 20/15 & 2.00 for reading (so I do wear readers for up-close reading, but not necessary for the computer monitor 18" away). Although Dr Levinson had strongly suggested that I consider the Mono-Vision option (doing 1 eye for distance & 1 for reading), I chose to just have both eyes adjusted for distance because some of my hobbies still involve high speed sports & excellent depth perception is needed. Im glad he did suggest it, but Im happy with the way things turned out & I can always opt for a mono vision procedure in the future. Bottom line is that while there are great LASIK doctors all over the country, I cant even imagine being as happy with anybody else as I still am with Dr Levinson & staff-

Dr. Levinson and his entire team, especially Mary, went above and beyond what was needed for my Lasik surgery. I am forever grateful for my perfect vision and the care and compassion that was given each and every appt I had. I was extremely nervous about the surgery but looking back the only thing I regret is not having this done sooner. And when I had an issue about my drops running out that I needed, Mary went above and beyond her duty to find me a close placeto me that had what I needed and for about a third of what I had paid before. He and his team are extremely welcoming, knowleagble and professional and I am so lucky that a good friend of mine recommended him to me. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a great and experienced eye doctor and surgeon. I absolutely love that fact that I have such a great eye doctor and team to call on for any situation. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, b/c I would give them an A+++, because I am a teacher :)

I have been hesitant on taking the leap for Lasik. My research led me to Levinson Eye Clinic and it is the same place my 93-year old mother has been a patient for years. The team was very thorough on the pre-op evaluation. Once I made the decision to go, I chose mono-vision since my contacts were that at one point. The procedure went well; the recovery has been a non-event. I am absolutely thrilled with the results. Each person I dealt with from pre-op to surgery to post-op was helpful and professional. The overall treatment from the entire staff has been first class. Most importantly, the surgery was a success. If you are hesitant as I was, I would work with this team and highly recommend them.

What a great clinic!! Top of the line equipment, friendly staff, and excellent results. Dr. Levinson has many years of experience and is a very friendly person. Mary is his assistant who I worked with, and you can count on her to answer your questions/concerns. She and I communicated on the phone many times, as I had LOTS of questions. She is very helpful and responsive! I had PRK (not Lasik, but still corrective eye surgery w/ lasers), and for the first time in my life, I can see!!! Goodbye glasses/contacts! Feels so good. Arrive at your first appointment 15 minutes early to take parking into consideration, as there is construction in the area and it can be tricky finding the place.

Dr Levinson and his staff have been helpful, professional and dedicated to their work. My family and I have been going there for well over 10 years. Its not close to my home but its well worth the drive every time. Everyone is very friendly and I like how your always greeted by someone and not waiting to be acknowledged. The wait times are not long at all although he is constantly with patients. Your really made to feel at home and comfortable. My daughter who is only 8 loves to go there every time and theyre all so wonderful with children. We love Dr Levinsons sense of humor. Great office, wonder staff and a professional caring Dr. THE MAN!!! :))))

I chose Dr. Levinson for my eye care 10 years ago. He is an excellent ophthalmologist who truly cares about his patients. His staff is also wonderful. Dr. Levinson literally changed my life by doing procedures to bring me from wearing thick glasses or contacts to being free of either for the last 3 years! He is very intelligent and meticulous....exactly what you want in a doctor. One review complained about wait times. I dont mind if hes running a bit behind, because I know he will spend all the time he needs with me when its my turn. Thats what makes him a great doctor.

Dr. Levinson is by far the best Ophthalmologist Ive ever worked with. He is accommodating and friendly but also really knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends and family members. My wife, kids, mom and sister are already happy patients of his. The staff at Levinson Eye Clinic should be awarded for their professionalism and their bright smiles. They are the best!

I had Lasik over 10 years ago with Dr. Levinson. Just had my annual exam and Im still seeing 20/20! He is personable and thorough with all his patients. The office staff has been incredible! I brought my mother in for cataract surgery and made sure my mom was taken care of, even giving us his personal cell phone number if we needed it! What doctor cares that much?!??!?! HE DOES!

This is about Dr. Levinson himself, not the clinic, and not about Lasix. Levinson missed tears in my husbands retina in both eyes when he came in with classic symptoms. Two weeks later, the retina of one eye had detached and he had to have eye surgery. Theres no way he went from nothing to a detachment in two weeks. Levinson blew it. Isnt this why we go to the Dr?

He was very attentive during my appointment and it was obvious that he has a lot of experience in and knowledge of the field. He performed lasik on me a couple of years ago and I havent seen any other ophthalmalogist since! I definitely recommend him!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Levinsons for 25 years now. I SUDDENLY developed cataracts several months ago. Quickly and painlessly removed...and from the moment I removed the eye patch after surgery, my vision was better than I ever remember it being. With my experience, I wouldnt see anyone else.
