Dr. Archdale and his staff are THE BEST! They always answer all of my questions and assure that my eyes are focused correctly (I have challenging eyes!) When it was time to pick new frames, it took me over an hour to decided on just the right style, and I never felt that I was wasting the clinicians time, or felt the need to rush - she wanted me to be happy with the style chosen and even suggested that I try on a few sunglasses, that they could put the new prescription lenses in those frames, also. And thats what I did! Dr. Archdale took the extra time I needed to feel comfortable with my mono contact lenses (1 far sighted 1 near sighted), and Ive never been happier with that choice! A few years ago, my husband had an eye ulceration that Dr. Archdale treated on a Saturday, and had him come back the next day (Fathers Day) to re-check. Not sure how many other doctors would have done that! Thank you Dr. Archdale! You and your staff are truly THE BEST! Would I recommend you? Yes, and I already DO! :)

Never use this place for low or no cost services. When it counts, they provide zero customer service. I was directed to Archdale for my employee provided safety glasses. Archdale took my order, and then failed to submit my order for 2 MONTHS! I called 4 weeks after submission and they claimed it could take 4-6 weeks to process. No follow up. I called again 4 weeks later and was told that 3M "didnt get the fax". How is that? The manager claimed she was submitting it Monday with a RUSH request. I walked in on Tuesday to confirm this and ask for my money back. They refused to refund me anything. When I called 3M myself Wednesday to check...Archdale was JUST THEN submitting my order! And 3M had it shipped back to me by SAT. 3 days. THREE DAYS! The worst was the treatment and excuses I got from the manager at this location. In short, dont use these people for anything. Not unless you plan on paying them to be nice.

During a recent visit at Archdale Eyecare, on 8th Street, I was warmed by the service I received. I not only receive personalized care at each visit, my family does, as well. My daughter, had her first eye exam at this visit, and was unsure of the style of lens she wanted. The location called me, before placing the order, to make sure that the type she requested was still her favorite or one they had similar. After sharing this with my daughter, she actually went with the second option. When we arrived to pick up her new glasses, the office even had a kind gift bag ready for her! She felt like a queen and I felt like Mother of the Year, for advising my family of such a wonderful experience they would have there. I not only recommend Archdale Eyecare to anyone, I also recommend it to my own family!

As a life-long user of corrective lenses, I can honestly say that Archdale Eyecare and Dr. Bergamo represent the best optometry care and best customer service I have ever experienced. I had little choice in provider when I was a kid, but as an adult, Ive always been very careful in selecting the right physician and office. I am so fortunate to have found Archdale soon after moving to Colorado. I have very high expectations and the physicians and staff at Archdale have never disappointed. I have referred several people to Archdale and have gotten very positive feedback from those who followed through on my recommendation. I live in Woodland Park, so appreciate the south location on 8th Street.

Very friendly staff, professional and quick. Dr. Archdale gave me my eye exam and he was patient, intelligent and humble. During the tests, he helped by explaining I need to relax and it is OK if 3 and 4 look the same. The lady that helped me pick out my frames had an eye for style, what would look good on me, and was able to help me quickly narrow down the many choices. They also were upfront on what was covered by my insurance and what was not and my total out-of-pocket. I ended up spending about $60 more on frames than I wanted (my VSP insurance only covered $120 worth), but Id rather get it all done at one place and at a place I know I can go back to if I have an issue.

Very disappointed in the direction the office has gone. I been a patient here for a few years but that will be changing after this last appointment. I had my appointment 06/30/17 have left 2 voicemail and talked to one person and i yet to have an answer as where my trial contacts are, it is now 7/24/17. I need my RX finalized and that cant happen until i test these lenses. Clearly they could care less. When even a call back is too much of a bother. I love Dr. Bauer but i can not continue to give business to a facility that has so little regard for me as their patient.

I called and checked to see that they took my insurance and they replied they did. I got the 1st available appointment which was a week away. They called me back five days later and stated there was a mistake and they werent in network for my insurance and all of my expenses would be out of pocket. This is the same trick the nationally advertised, larger company tries. They wait until the last minute knowing you need glasses and then tell you they dont honor your insurance. This is a shameful way to conduct business!

As a new patient I was very impressed with AEC. Their front desk staff is very courteous and professional. They answered all of my questions and explained the Optos procedure very thoroughly. Dr. Bergamo was very thorough, kind, and professional throughout her exam. The optical staff was also wonderful in helping me pick out new glasses that looked good on me and met my specific needs. I will be highly recommending Archdale Eye Care (AEC) to everyone I know.

I was referred to Archdale by my sister-in-law. I had given up on my contacts for about a year and finally got tired of wearing glasses again. Dr. Bauer spent a lot of time with me to get my contacts right and I have never been happier. I have worn contacts for 23 years and these are the best Ive ever had. The staff is friendly and there is no pressure to buy, they make sure you are completely satisfied when you leave.

For three years Dr. Bergamo has done a great job treating my 8 year old daughter. We never feel rushed and she always takes plenty of time to answer the questions about her condition and treatment strategies. The technicians and front desk staff are great too. We never have to wait past our appointment time and are treated very well. They have an office near Briargate, too. I highly recommend them.

Dr. Archdales staff is as efficient and pleasant as he is. They are a group of personable professionals who work to satisfy your vision needs more timely than any other doctors office. They have all been thorough and accurate and have state-of-the-art equipment to work with. Dr. Archdale responded directly to personal messages I left with questions about my aging parents. You just cant do it better!
