I had an externally negative experience with this provider. Dr. Headington is an affable and friendly gentleman and my first prescription from him worked well. Although I received a rather frosty response from the front desk staff when I asked for a copy of my prescription, they did provide it for me. However, this ended up foreshadowing the attitude they have towards patients that dont wish to purchase their glasses there. My first prescription worked very well. So well in fact, that I noticed blurred vision in the eye I wasnt initially having issues with. Thus, I scheduled a follow up appointment to address that issue. Since I purchased my glasses online, I first visited three independent opticians to verify that the pupilary distance and optical properties of the lenses were within ANSI ISO tolerances for the prescription so as not to waste his time. His assistant also put them on the auto-lensometer and confirmed that it read out as prescribed. This is where my experience turned very negative. I started out with a friendly conversation with Dr. Headington about my issue, and he adjusted the prescription to help my other eye and discussed headaches from eye stress. Everything was ok up until the point that I mentioned that I ordered my glasses online. His demeanor completely changed and he became extremely condescending. He said something along the lines of "forget everything I just said," retroactively blamed the issues on my glasses (which still work fantastic with the updated prescription by the way) and made a big show of entering it into my file that they were purchased online. All of those criticisms might have been fair, however, HE NEVER EVEN BOTHERED TO EXAMINE THE GLASSES THAT HE SAID WERE CAUSING ME PROBLEMS DESPITE THE FACT THAT HIS ASSISTANT VERIFIED THEIR OPTICAL QUALITIES. They remained in my coat pocket the entire time. Perhaps he knows how to make x-ray lenses and looked at them that way...but I highly doubt it. Overall, I got the impression that they are more interested in selling glasses than their patients medical well-being. I will never visit a dispensing ODO again, especially this place. In my opinion, there is too much of a conflict of interest. Also they spam you with apt reminders. It was only after 3 calls and a text asking me to schedule a checkup, that I remembered how negative my experience was and decided to write this review.

I was a patient at a Vision Source location in another state and was happy to learn of this location. I was a patient here for two years. I will not be back. My doctor moved out of state and the office told me that a new one would be coming in to replace her "soon" and that he would call me. I had taken a visual field test and was awaiting the results/consult with the new doctor. I never received a call from the doctor or notice that he had referred me to a specialist. The specialists office called me to schedule an appt and that is how I learned I needed to see one. I spoke with the office today regarding this referral and mentioned my discontentment that the doctor hadnt so much as called me to let me know I would be referred to a specialist, to go over results, or to introduce himself. The employee had no reaction (and I mean literally did not respond to the words I said) and continued talking about how they would order my contact. While it is not her fault that I didnt receive a call from the doctor as I was specifically told I would, I guess I expected too much by thinking she might sympathize with the circumstance. No apology necessary really. But perhaps let me know that you agree that this is poor form. Then again, it is the medical profession and perhaps I ought to know better by now.

After getting new frames and lenses, I realized quickly that there was a problem with my vision. They saw me again at no cost (which I appreciated), but couldnt find any problem with the prescription. They ended up slightly reducing my prescription, but this didnt solve the problem. I eventually realized that the problem was with the fit of the frames. I was able to adjust the earpieces to change the angle of the lenses, but that allowed the frames to slide forward when looking down. I would have expected the optician to help me select frames that fit right in the first place, and optometrist to diagnose the problem accurately. A friendly, efficient group of people, but my confidence in them was shaken too much to go back.

I managed to book a same day appointment, staff was lovely. Receptionist was polite and quick, and the technician who did my small exams prior to the doctor was really sweet amd seemed knowledgable as well. I was in and out within an hour. Dr. Ken was really wonderful. He addressed my issues and gave me an option that will keep my focus in check, instead of trying to sell me 2 or 3 things. The lady who helped me choose my glasses and checked me out was also great. This office is small, but was clean, well kept, and got me out of there with a great deal! Thanks a bunch, will definitely be back.

I would give this no stars if it would let me. This office is nothing but a scam! They refuse to correct their mistakes and blame you because they are wrong. They will scam you out of every penny they can! Save your money and do not go here! I am stuck with glasses that are completely wrong. I might as well have flushed my money down a toilet. I would have got the same results.

My family and I have been going to Northglenn Optometric Center for nearly two decades now. Dr. McGuire and his staff have been nothing but professional, fair, courteous and friendly for all the years I have been going there for my eye-health needs. My only criticism is the parking lot. Its horribly small and hard to navigate.
