I recently visited Family Eyecare in Eastpointe as a new customer. Ive been wearing glasses for more than 25 years and I have never had such an extraordinary experience. I paid 3 visits to their place of business... 1) to check out the selection, 2) for my appointment and 3) to pickup and get fitted for my new glasses. I engaged with several different employees during these visits and was extremely impressed by their friendly and attentive service. On top of that, the employees appeared to be well versed in their craft, which instilled me with the utmost confidence in them. My prescription has never been more accurate nor have I felt so satisfied with my overall experience. I unequivocally recommend them and shall return for my contacts and next pair of glasses.

When I moved to this side of town, I decided to try to find a store closer to me than the old glasses store I used to use in Royal Oak. I found Family Eye Care in the Yellow Pages and I called them and set up an appointment. My appointment went really well. The staff is very friendly and caring. They set up a pick-up date for me for about a week later. When I returned the following week, my new glasses were available and ready so I wore them out of the store and returned home! (smile) I think its nice in this day an age whereas so many small businesses have kind of gone by the wayside, its awesome to find a store that still cares about the customer and offering good prices for excellent service and product!

Dr. Schick and the rest of the staff are outstanding ! Never a wait and they are very friendly. This is a group of people that truly care about their patients. I needed to be fitted for hard contacts after wearing soft contacts for nearly 30 years due to eye disease and they allowed several follow up visits to ensure the correct fit and comfort. I never felt rushed and they allowed plenty time to answer my questions and listen to my concerns. I have been to many many clinics in my lifetime for contacts and or glasses but Family Eye Care is easily the very best. I highly recommend them. Give them a try, you wont be disapointed !

I have been getting my glasses here for about 17 years, ever since I started needing them. I like Dr Schick. The ladies that help you pick out frames are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. You can go in anytime for a 3000 mile oil change and lube job and they will adjust your glasses for free. On the rare occasions that I have needed simple repairs, those too has been done free of charge. I dont go anyplace else.

This office has extremely courteous and family-friendly staff. My husband, daughter, and I have all been before and I took our 5 year old for his very first eye check this past weekend. They were so good with him and took the time to answer his (silly) questions. I will never switch unless we move far away!
