I had my first visit at SVS today. The reception staff was very friendly. I was early for my appointment and was able to get in which was nice. Im not sure who the dr I saw was though because he didnt introduce himself. The exam room smelled strongly of coffee although I didnt see any. The dr didnt wipe anything down before he had me put my face on the various contraptions which made me keep wondering how gross each one might be. My eye exam with him took all of 10 minutes. When it was time to go in another room to get the contacts, he just got up but didnt let me know thats what we were doing. In the contacts room, he set out a pair of contacts, said these were the best for astigmatism, and left. No one came back in. No one checked to see if they fit properly. I am definitely not impressed with the clinical side of this place.
