I started going to Dr. Bieber over 30 years ago as a teenager. He has always been thorough, caring, and empathetic. About ten years ago, I started having strange shimmering in my vision. It turned out to be Suprior Oblique Myokymia and I cannot describe how hard he worked to figure it out. The office staff over those last 30 years were always marvelous and easy to work with. This changed drastically about three years ago. The staff improperly submitted my claim and I called repeatedly to have the issue resolved. They didnt return phone calls or do what they said they would do. Instead, they sent my account to a collector. I was appauled. After raising a stink, it was fixed and the office manager (as I recall, the wife of an owner) admitted some problems in the office. Unfortunately, the office staff at last years visit was no better. Unfriendly and unhelpful. Despite my provider indicating that they were under VisionPlus as they always had been, they said they were not and I had to then use out-of-network coverage. Oddly, I just called to potentially schedule this years visit (one more try). I was told that they updated their coverage just a few months ago and are no longer on VisionPlus. This timing would indicate that they were, in fact, under VisionPlus at my last appointment. Sadly, Im finished with this place. Dr. Bieber is no longer an owner, according to the staff, and it shows. Terrible office staff. Go see Dr. Bieber at his Mt. Sterling office. The drive will be worth it.

This office used to be great, but has declined dramatically over the past couple years. The doctor spent less than 10 minutes determining my new prescription, and big surprise it was completely over-prescribed. After going back and forth all I wanted to do was return the brand new, very expensive glasses I had just purchased. They refused to honor any type of reimbursement on the lenses ($113 just for lenses!!), and only reimbursed me for a portion of the cost of frames. Save your time and go elsewhere to work with professionals.

Ive seen Dr. Travis for the past 5 years and she is nothing short of fantastic. She knows me, my history, and provides me all the information I need to make the right choices for my eyes. Her technician, Brooke, also does a great job of walking you through your tests and explaining the purpose of each. Ive never had any issue with the staff and they go beyond what any other doctors office does to let you know the fees up front. They even knew my new insurance provider info (that had just changed the day before) before I did.

Northwest Eyecare Professionals in a excellent place to go to for eye exams, new glasses and so many other services. My family (both Piper and Riley) have been using the services of this office since 1968. This office has first rate. All of the employees are dedicated and love the work they do. I personally trust my eye care to them. I refer new customers to this office every time I have the chance. Keep up the good work - Oliva P Riley

I had my first eye exam with Dr. Bieber in January of this year. I was very impressed with his "bedside manner" and the specialized attention I received. Since my exam, my entire family has transferred to his office. My sister and I have been extremely pleased with our new glasses, plus their staff has been more than happy to do adjustments when we stop in. I would highly recommend his practice!

I went here about a year ago because they were close to my house. They provided exceptional customer service and follow through. The other day I had an accident which bent the frame a bit. They were able to to get me in, fix it, and I was on my way in about 15 minutes. No charge. You pay a little more but the service you receive is well worth it. I highly recommend it.

The worst experience my wife and I have had with an eye doctor in many, many years. The office staff has been terrible to work with and calling them unhelpful would be giving them too much credit. They cant seem to keep anything straight and you have to repeat yourself with every single conversation. Save yourself the the hassle and find another eye doctor.

I couldnt ask for any better of a primary OD office than Northwest, which Ive been using as mine for three years now. Always professional, organized, and efficient with service. All the doctors are straightforward, consistent, and honest with all service. Even the student/resident that worked with Dr. Bieber was really good. A+ rating here.
