I started going to Drakeshire when they merged with my old dentist office. It was okay to start but quickly fell short of what I would consider a facility with customer service. Once the staff from the old office no longer worked at Drakeshire they started to treat me poorly. They overbook and there isnt much of a wait time in the lobby, but once youre seated in the chair you could be there for over an hour waiting. I recently found another dentist only to have Drakeshire give me NOTHING BUT TROUBLE AND HASSLE when the new office requested my x-rays. The office manager claimed she didnt know how to send them, she wasnt willing to even pretend that she would make an effort to figure it out. She proceeded to hang up on the place trying to obtain MY records. OF COURSE I wasnt able to call and get anywhere either as most of the staff is related to one of the Drs. I knew that it had nothing to do with me, the customer service was not even subpar. The bad side is you can have all the "latest and greatest" technology but if your staff is rude, pushy, nasty and unprofessional then you have nothing. I liked Dr. Carpenter. He was always very nice but I would NEVER return to see him unless I was able to bypass the horrible staff he has. The only people there who had any manners and actually treated people with respect were obviously Dr. Carpenter, Pauline and Erin. The rest of the staff brings that whole place down. I finally got my x-rays....after I said Id be in to see Dr Carpenter and pick them up. All of the sudden the "mean girls" got their stuff together and sent them right over. I hope this gets into the hands of someone who can truly make a difference over there.

The service at the dental office was very good and professional. However, we were blindsided by a bill we never expected. When we arrived to their office we specifically stated we did not want anything done that our insurance did not cover. When we left they stated that we were all set, we paid our co-pay and asked to confirm that we wont owe anything else. They reassured us that we paid everything in full and next thing you know we get a bill in the mail stating that we are overdue on a payment. This came as a shock, as we would have paid them that day if they were to have set the proper expectation up front. Now they say we are 90 days past due and tacked on extra fees I will not go back to this dental office. They are not forthcoming regarding fees and explanations. In addition to having paid a "bill" that they kept saying was past due, we are still getting mail from them indicating that we still owe and that we are past due. We do not owe them anything and have proof of payment. This is getting beyond irritating. We just want to move on from this horrible experience and they continue to contact us. I would not recommend anyone to use this office. You cannot blame people for not returning to your office if you are not forthcoming.

I am a new patient that was referred to this dental office. I have had a cleaning, chip repairs, wisdom teeth extracted and a consult on some receding gums. Their entire staff from the front desk staff all the way to dentists were very personable and very professional. It was a very comfortable place to be especially for a dentist office. Dr. Carpenter is very easy to work with as he very thoroughly describe and went explained everything during my consult for what should be done with my wisdom teeth as well as my receding gums. He also does amazing work with repairing chips, as this is something else that was needed. Dr. Nava was just as much of a pleasure to have worked with as she was the doctor who extracted my wisdom teeth. I was in the mindset that it would be an unpleasant experience but I felt nothing while Dr. Nava and her assistant worked very well together and were very mindful of me and how I was feeling. I highly recommend this staff of very nice and highly professional individuals that will treat you very well.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My wife paid so much money to this place and nothing in her mouth is fixed. She wanted to put in a fake tooth, and she would point at it so the dentist knew exactly which one. Since they convinced us to pay up front because we would get 5% off, we did. They put a crown on a tooth next to stop she wanted the fake tooth put in. After they worked on it, my wife looked at her mouth and noticed they didnt do anything. She went back and complained and they insisted that she wanted a crown done. I am so appalled at this dental place. The prices are WAY to high anyways. The staff is rude and unpleasant. They never want to deal with you, so they just make you wait. They didnt even give me a refund even though, ONLY the temporary crown was put on at the moment. I will never go to this dental office again, and I highly recommend the same for everyone reading this. Just how the other reviews said, STAY AWAY. Stay far away. DONT GO HERE!!!

I got teeth fillings with Dr. Katie Johnston on March 5th. Fillings looked good but, I had a unpleasant experience. Doctor Johnston and her assistant kept talking during my procedure about their vacation. Ive never experienced this before and it was very disturbing. I wanted the doctor to concentrate on the procedure, but nevertheless they kept talking. I knew this procedure would be a routine and easy one for Doctor Johnston, but I felt the need for them to pay attention to me. I the midst of the dental procedure I told them, "I am here and Im listening to your conversation". Upon hearing me they stopped. Overall, I think I deserve more respect from the doctor. As a result of this traumatizing experience, I do NOT want to continue seeing them and I highly suggest people STAY AWAY from Drakeshire Dental.

Do not recommend this place to anybody! I could write an essay why but I will make this simple. There prices are way too high and they dont even do it the proper way! I left a review on here before stating the exact situation I was in (they put a crown on the WRONG tooth, then tried to make me pay to fix the issue), but I guess it was taken down. My dentist even seen me at Krogers and ASKED me to take down the review but I didnt because its the truth and I want everyone to know how terrible this dental office is. Im so glad I dont have to deal with them anymore!! STAY AWAY from this horrible place!!! It doesnt even deserve to be called a dental place!!

I had a lower plate made by them and almost at once it didnt fit well. I contacted them several times and got no response. Last month I went to Aspen Denture and got a denture that fits perfectly well for about one fourth the amount. Also they wanted to charge me and extra $600 or so for a final lining which was not included in the price estimate. Ive had such a poor experience with them that I have thought about suing them. It is obvious that they really dont know how to make dentures and, worse, they simply dont care. The only reason I gave them a star is that this message wont post without at least one star.
