Read some of the reviews regarding Dr Hayes and while I agree he can be quite blunt, he tells you like it is but does spend time asking questions. If you want a sweet doctor that gives you whatever you want or you come there with the attitude this is whats wrong and this is the treatment I want, go somewhere else. One of the best things about him is that he prescribes medications that are history tested versus the latest one on the TV, that seem to have a longer list of potential side effects then cure. I saw Dr Hayes for 20 years and wish I could still go there but bad news for me I moved to Rhode Island. If you think he is bad, you should see a doctor in Rhode Island or Mass, many are rude and costs are almost double for the same visit with less service, especially the ones that practice Primary Care. A checkup here means you managed to walk into the place and have your blood pressure taken. A physical means they listen to your heart and lungs, no EKG, no physical check, no urine test, no prostate exam, etc. and maybe blood work request. While I was under Dr Hayes care, when issues developed where a specialist consult was needed, he never hesitate to tell me, suggested a specialist and did followup for results on my next appointment with him. Maybe its because I prefer a doctor who tells it like it is versus sugar coating everything. As for the women with the infected toe problem, if you had such great insurance, why didnt you go to a podiatrist?

If there a choice of zero stars, thats what I would Put! Who on Earth gave this man a license? I had the worst experience with this Rude, Condescending, egotistical ASS! I came in for a infected toe due to ingrown toenail, I was prescribed an antibiotic, when it didnt help, I made a next week appointment. My toe was swollen, and infected even worse! I was told by him, after waiting AGAIN, that he didnt have time to treat my toe. Insisted that it looked fine.It was inflamed and swollen. I could barely walk. He called me old, and even said to me in a very cocky voice, oh you poor thing". I was furious and left, he still got his damn 30 dollar co pay. I filed a formal complaint against him for his rudeness, and his smart ass attitude. My husband works 60 hours a week to pay high premiums on an insurance who has doctors such as this. I will never return to his office, although his staff is extremely kind and helpful, Dr Jeff Hayes is the Worst Doctor to go to. Do Not waste your time or money. He will not help you and insult you the whole time you are there.He should be ashamed!

Dr. hayes treated me rudely, as well as my family. He asked us, "what are you doing here?" in a rude tone & seemed very uncaring. We used to go to him all of the time. Dont worry, Jeffrey, we got message & wont be back. Very rude for a doctor whom is supposed to be caring & concerned.

Ive been seeing Dr. Hayes since I was in my 20s. For me, he is a perfect fit. He will listen, yes, but he is the doctor, he gets final say. He has never steered myself or my children wrong. His demeanor may not be for everyone, but he is a great doc.

Dr Hayes is quite rude. He was rude to my daughter and myself on 3 separate occasions. If you want medical advice but dont mind being treated in a harsh manner, Jeff is great for you.
