So we took our first cat in,Found out she had both a cyst and cancerous mass. She comes back home looking like she was stitched up by a five year old. Took our second cat in to get fixed and first call we get is that she was pregnant. I knew for damn sure unless it was some Jesus kitties that was not possible at all as she did not get out and is not around a unfixed male but they argued the point for a couple minutes and it was just whatever. However they called back and it turned out that it was actually a infection and she wasnt pregnant. We still got charged the hundred dollars for the procedure they where going to do to her. So then a third call came saying that while coming out of the surgery and coming off from the anesthetics and whatnot that my kitty stopped breathing. At this point I wish I could have reached my hand through the phone to smack someone upside the head. THEN again they try to get us to drop even MORE money out of our pocket saying that she needs to go to a 24 hour place to be monitored. Oh and then it didnt stop there... On top of that not once, not twice but three times (We had all three cats fixed) they prescribed some damn type of painkillers that made two of three of the cats like flip out like the devil (They are usually very chill and mild manner cats,So acting like a devil cat is not normal for them.). So to avoid a third mishap with these painkillers I decided instead of a full pill to give my cat a half of one and she was completely fine,Out of pain,Doing her usual meowing and purring and back to her usual personality. I mean our cats are VERY small due to the mother being a small cat,They inherited it. the smallest was around 6.7 pounds before being fixed and the other two around the 7.5 pound mark. They are just tinier stature then the average cats. which is why I made the decided to only give half a pill as the prescription was for that of a much taller/bigger framed cat,Defiantly not for a petite cat. Then they just go full idiot mode and tell me that I HAVE to give the full pill because a half of one wont absorb into the system...If that is the truth my brothers medication doesnt absorb into his system either because he takes half of pills. That is like saying you HAVE to put a full spoon full of sugar into your coffee because if you dont the half a spoon of sugar wont absorb into the coffee. In reality giving half a pill will just lessen the dosage the body gets. I did not listen to them at all,not about the 24 hour care or the pill and my cat healed just fine and is back up and better then even,Running around and is a hundred percent because I focused on getting her better and did NOT view her as a dollar sign. Bottom line is the staff do not know what they are talking about or do not seem to have a clue to what they are doing (Having three mishaps with my kittys procedure alone) and on top of everything else all that comes out of their mouth is talk about how much more money they can get. Always talking about what else you should do/get done for your pet. They kind of remind me of Grunkle Stan from Gravity Falls. Incompetent and money hungry.

I have been to the Parkview Animal Hospital on several occasions. They have always all been wonderfully kind, courteous and calming. It can be such a stressful time taking a pet in to the vet, no matter whether its a vaccination, an injury, sickness or even a wellness visit. They really do an outstanding job. It takes special people to be able to be behind the front desk, as well as all the assistants and doctors. Theyre all wonderful. They are there for us during the good times and sometimes sad...offering sincere assistance and the doctors skills and know-how to get the best care for your pet. I think their rates are both extremely fair and reasonable! They are on the up-and-up, ladies and gentlemen out there. Check them out for yourselves. You wont be disappointed! I would like to sincerely thank my cats doctors and assistants. Thank you so much for your knowledge, kind demeanor and obvious love of pets. That means the world to me. Lastly, I would like to give a special shout-out to Dr. Marcin Rejnaik. Youre one cool doctor...and Levi absolutely adores you. Whether Levi is feeling anxious when I first get there, his usual inquisitive self or if hes feeling under the weather, he is ALWAYS happy and relieved to see you. Its really amazing. He sits there like hes known you for forever and a day. He certainly trusts you unconditionally. That is a HUGE thing to me. I have never seen him warm up to anyone quite like that before! To sum it up, youre aces in our book. :) Levi says "Hi!"

HORRIBLE! My cat died, and I blame this practice!!!! I took my cat in for symptoms of another urethral blockage. (2weeks previously this hospital did surgery on this and my cat stayed in hospital for 5 days. over $800). I was do to be out of town this particular day, asked if they would house him in the hospital, run all the necessary tests and IVs, and when given the all clear I would have a family member pick him up later that day or next. I even had their $300 deposit that they want. :( At any rate, they took the cat back and came back 3minutes later and said no blockage. what?! how can they tell just by feeling the bladder, yes it was small, but what he wasnt drinking enough?! so I asked "they dont want to run tests, IVs, etc?" I was told it didnt look necessary, but I could to "one of the doctors" but sense it wasnt an emergency, Id have to wait past all the legitimate patients who made appts. I was told this I. front of the whole lobby, so everyone there looked at me as if I cut in front of their routi e vaccine appt, theyd be very mad! so I told the very curt and rude receptionist I was leaving and please the Dr call me back(the one that the week previously called me everyday regarding this pet). I never did get a call from the Dr. I spoke with the manager about my disappointment, etc. Defending their practice was #1. ugh. needless to say with in 2 days of a "not blocked" "non emergency" my cat died at home. Im truly disheartened...

I took my cat for a declaw and ended up in near tears after this experience. I adopted my cat from a local adoption program and had a great experience. However, when I took him to get declawed here, they made me feel like a horrible pet owner. The did not take the time to explain things to me and tried to pressure me into buying treatments that were completely unnecessary to what he came in for. When I opted out of the OPTIONAL treatments, they patronized me and made me feel terrible for not purchasing a preventative treatment for a cat who did not need it. Furthermore, when I opted to give my cat his antibiotics myself, they told me there is no way I would be able to do this and that I would be sorry and be back to see them for the topical treatment. (When I got him home, he took the medication for me, no problem). I got 2 calls from the office stating how he was a terrible cat - he hissed and tried to bite the staff numerous times when they tried to grab him out of his cage and when he was placed next to "a known aggressive cat" as the vet put it. Ironically, she told me as soon as they removed the other cat, he calmed down considerably. This was a terrible first experience and I will certainly never be back and will never refer anyone to this office either.
