I highly recommend Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates and Dr. Joni Richmond! My children are ages 6 and 2 and they ABSOLUTELY love coming to see Dr. Joni. Their team is incredibly kid-friendly, fun, respectful and kind. Every visit is memorable in that they are made to feel so special...like every visit is their first! I love that my daughters are learning the value of healthy teeth and gums! As a local mom, it has been my privilege to recommend families to the Metropolitan Pedo team. As a community dental profession, I can attest that this team provides the highest level of quality of care combined with progressive and technological innovation. I have requested 4 appointments from Metropolitan Pediatrics Dental online but never had any phone call from any staff to set up appointments. So I stopped by the office to set up the appointments, but was informed by the "busy receptionist" that I could go online and request to set up appointments for them by filling out an appointment request. As I told her I did requested it and didnt hear anything, she told me that someone should be contacting me "soon". I took it upon myself to request for someone to call me to set up 4 appointments again after a few days, and to this present moment I still have not have any phone call to set up even one appointment.

My children have been going to Metro Peds for years, and we have had nothing but great experiences. First, the clinic sends reminder notices and phone calls when its time to get cleanings. We all know what a relief that is with busy schedules! Second, they do reminder calls for upcoming appointments. Those little things make a big difference! Finally, and most important, the staff and providers are amazing with the little ones. They seem to remember every patient that comes in, they have always been able to entertain my kiddos, and I have seen them quickly and smoothly calm upset children numerous times. All around great clinic!

This was my sons first trip to a dentist (under 3 yrs old), and the staff all made it go very smoothly and a very positive impression for him. I was very pleased, from the front desk, to hygenist Loretta (had great patience and education for me, and toddler explanations), to Dr. Lipschultz. Their office was recommended from a friend, and I am so glad we scheduled there (they also got us in for a last-minute open appointment). The thank you note after the visit with my sons favorite stickers was such a kind gesture as well, to reinforce good "dentist vibes" in a young kid! Thank you to the staff!

Friendly. Knowledgeable. Caring. Consistent. Thats how I describe Dr. Nickman and his associates at Metropolitan Pediatric Dental Associates. As a mother of eight and MPDA client for over 20 years, Ive received helpful advice and gentle care for all of my children. The atmosphere and staff are equally welcoming and warm for toddlers visiting the first time, teens receiving monthly orthodontic treatments, and college students needing emergency care during holiday breaks. Dr. Nickman and his staff are expert professionals and trusted caregivers.

Dr. Nickman and his assistant Jen did an amazing job with our 7 year old daughter. They immediately put her at ease and walked her through each step they took in a kid friendly manner while still completing the procedure in a timely and efficient manner. She especially liked the movies they played for her! Thanks to all the employees at both the Eagan and Fridley locations over the past few visits; you were outstanding!

First and only time I will use this clinic. Staff was friendly but dental assistant had one hand with extremely long and unkept looking finger nails (freaky long). Waiting room did not appear well kept, fish tank was dirty looking and so were the benches. Very run down but again the staff was nice but overall I expect more where a family member is getting dental care.

Amazing pediatric dental team and Doctor dentists!! We had our first visit last week at the Fridley location and we were beyond impressed with their excellent work and high quality of services!! We loved working with Dr. Joni M. Richmond and her dental Assistant!! They did an amazing job with my 2 yrs old!!
