We love Oak Knoll Animal Hospital! Our (very healthy and happy) 10-year old Golden Retriever, Callahan, has had all his care here since he was a puppy. The staff is really wonderful, doctors are excellent, scheduling is efficient and easy, and its always a pleasure to go to the clinic. They built a brand new facility a couple of years ago, nice and clean, never smelly. Its also in a convenient location on Minnetonka Blvd. with its own parking and right next to a bus stop. Particularly convenient to Uptown, Lake Calhoun, Cedar-Isles Dean, and St. Louis Park. Note: Callahan had a small surgery to remove a fat lump (typical with goldens) that was bothering him, and had his teeth cleaned at the same time. The doctor was very clear with me (after testing the lump with a syringe for signs of cancer) that the surgery was optional, and the approximate price for the surgery was provided for me. The decision was left entirely to me. When I decided to go ahead with the surgery, I added the teeth cleaning since he would be under anaesthesia for the procedure. That was my idea; no one "upsold" me a service. My experience shows that Oak Knoll really puts pets and owners first!

My first rescue dog was Teekay, a sweet funny cocker spaniel terrier mix...I had had a bad experience with another animal hospital and someone told me about Oak Knolll. Not only are they excelant Doctors but they are caring compassionate and patient. When Teekay became very sick he had to stay at the hospital for a few days and nights and everyone was so caring and ready to answer all questions.the entire staff makes you feel better. You know they all love animals. The Doctors told me Teekay was very sick and I should think about his quality of life.one day I knew the time had come for me to let Teekay go. I called Oak Knoll and my kids and I took Teekay there. They had a room all ready for him and we had all the time we needed to say goodby. I would never take a pet anywhere else. I now have another rescue dog. A sweet smart Shih Tzu named Ping.he is not as fond of Oak Knoll as I am.he knows they give shots, so he likes to leave a present on their carpet.

Oak Knoll Animal Hospital is the best veterinary service Ive ever used. Dr. Tracy Earl is everything you would want in a veterinarian. She remembers you, your family, and your animal. She comes in and immediately pets and talks to your dog/cat making him/her and you feel comfortable. She asks all the pertinent questions so she can quickly diagnose your animals problem and how to treat it. She has always been able to do it for my dog and cat and thats what gives me such confidence in her. If your animal needs to stay overnight, he will be well cared for. When I pick him up, my dog or cat is happy and ready to leave. Thats my proof of their care. Sometimes If I need a quick piece of advice, their receptionist, Vicky, can answer almost anything. Many times thats all you need and she handles it quickly and with good humor

Oak Knoll has been providing care for our animals - dogs and cats - for over 10 years. During that time they have provided routine care, cancer care, surgeries, care of chronic conditions, help with a dog w/ extreme anxiety disorder and end-of-life care. They have always given us options for treatments and supported us in whatever we have chosen. They have helped manage at-home care and are always available to answer any questions. it is a 45 mile trip for us but we consider our animals to be members of our family and we want the best care possible for them. The costs for their services are reasonable and competitive. We have such confidence in all the staff at Oak Knoll and couldnt recommend more highly.

We have been taking our pets here since I was a little girl. We love Dr. Earl, our dog now has very bad seasonal allergies and he needs medications almost year round. She is always very accommodating and welcoming. We have tried other vets when we moved for a bit but they were more expensive and not as friendly. They really get to know your pets and you. I really like all the staff and have not found a better clinic for my pets. What is nice they do not push things down your throat and actually listen to your concerns about your pet. We now if we move will drive to see them !

Very caring and knowledgeable. Always easy to get appointments. They dont overbook, like some other places Ive been to, so youre not waiting forever to check in and then check out and pay your bill. This means the vets always has time for me; I never feel rushed. Not all that long ago, I had to put one of my cats down. Dr. Josephs was incredibly kind. Zach went peacefully and quickly. She then gave us all the time we needed, checking in on us every now and then, just to see how we were doing, but it never felt intrusive. I like all of the vets there.

We have been going to Oak Knoll for many many years and they have always given the very best care to all of our dogs. I highly recommend them to anyone searching for a knowledgeable and caring veterinarian. One of our dogs was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and given 6 months to live. But with the great care given by Dr. Smith, our sweet boy lived 3 additional years!!! The whole staff is amazing at handling simple procedures such as nail trims to more difficult diagnoses and end of life care recommendations. Thank you Oak Knoll!

The staff at Oak Knoll Animal Hospital has cared for my pets and for me as a sometimes very nervous pet owner, for nearly 20 years. I have never been disappointed by the care my pets received or the time that was spent with me discussing my pets situation or treatment options. They take care of my pets like they were their own. I appreciate the patience and compassion that I have always received, as well. I recommend Oak Knoll Animal Hospital very highly with no reservations, my experience there has been outstanding for nearly 20 years.

Ive been going to Oak Knoll for 11 years now with my dogs. All the staff are so caring and kind. Theyve taken great care of both my dogs. They were available right away the day Chipper ripped his nail off and the bleeding wouldnt stop. They see my Pekingese every month for her anal glands, and treat her like a princess whenever she comes in. When needed, they referred me to a specialist for things they couldnt treat. I totally trust them, and my dogs are in good health in their senior years, thanks to Oak Knoll!

Thoughtful, attentive, and honest care for my two shibas, who can be a handful! Everyone there goes out of their way to make my fur babies feel as comfortable and as cooperative as possible. I have taken them there for routine care as well as emergencies, and the staff try to work with my schedule as much as possible. They will also be upfront with you about the costs of things, and give recommendations for how valuable something is going to be given the pets circumstances. Highly recommend!
