As a runner, I am making the highest recommendation for the help and treatment Dr. Laiderman provided me. This summer after some races I had, I began experiencing persistent pain in my right foot and it was getting harder and harder to get my training runs in. I had about one month until my next marathon, with another marathon a month after that and then a 100 mile trail ultramarathon a month later, so I was extremely concerned that not only would I not be able to train for these races, but that I wouldn’t even be able to compete in them. My fear about going to see a doctor was that they would basically tell me I need to take time off from running & that running a 100 mile race isn’t good for you, etc.. Dr. Laiderman was recommended to me at the running store I shop at (Big River Running) and because he works with so many athletes and is an athlete himself, I knew he would understand what I was dealing with. So I was excited when after my first assessment, he told me that not only could I continue to run & train but that through the therapy and treatment, I would still be able to race. He was able to determine the source of what was making my feet hurt & to work on treating the root issue. He also provided me with things I could work on at home every day to help speed up the treatment and recovery, including foam rolling techniques (which I don’t know how I ever got by without before), various icing techniques, ice baths, using compression socks after workouts and several stretches. I was amazed that after a few sessions I could feel that my running stride seemed to be much more fluid and easy. He did some fairly aggressive treatments given the short times I had to work with between my races, but I was able to continue training & see improvements in my running and in how my body was responding to techniques he used. With his help and treatment, I was able to race the two marathons I had scheduled (including getting a PR) and most importantly I was also able to run and complete the 100 mile ultra (and improve my time on that one as well). Dr. Laiderman not only kept me on the roads & on the trails running and racing but helped me recover and taught me the things I need to do to help reduce issues in the future. If there is any runner or athlete that is experiencing some kind of pain and is concerned that it will derail their training or competition, there is no need to look any further for help than with Dr. Laiderman.

Dr. Laiderman and the staff at OPC are incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. As a lifelong road runner, who has experienced more injuries than I care to recount, I have taken part in a plethora of rehabilitation programs operated by practitioners with varying philosophies concerning how best to address these ailments. What impresses me most about the care I receive from Dr. Laiderman is the time and consistent, individualized attention directed toward determining the "cause" of my ailments, as opposed to merely addressing the "symptoms" as is the common approach based on my experiences. I have found that most therapists and doctors recommend that patients cease any and all activity during treatment and then treat only the symptoms while neglecting what mechanical issues may have contributed to the symptoms in the first place. Unfortunately, most find that this only results in the symptoms returning upon resuming activity, as nothing was affected with respect to the cause. Dr. Laiderman does not employ a "one size fits all" methodology; rather, he understands that each individuals ailments warrant unique approaches in order for sustainable well-being to be realized. Furthermore, as an athlete himself, he is sympathetic to the adverse physiological, psychological, and emotional implications of ceasing all activity due to injuries and, therefore, endeavors to accommodate patients desires to continue some level of activity while still facilitating the healing process. If you want a treatment plan that stands out above the rest and a doctor who truly listens to, and takes into consideration, patients concerns, please save yourself the countless hours I have wasted on programs that simply do not work. Choose OPC!

I had the pleasure working with Dr. Laidermen and Dr. Pohl and I must say they sure got my back! Literally! I have gone to two chiropractors previously with zero success. I have been to the hospital I want to say at least 6 times from pulling my lower back out. My first visit I went from doing the penguin walk to well walking normal again! I was really impressed with how they not only worked on my back but incorporated stretches for me to do at home that fit my busy lifestyle THAT actually worked! I was not interested at all going back to seeking out another chiropractor after previous experiences, but when I started pulling my back out every week I knew I had to do something or else it was going to cripple me. I now just go for maintenance, and I still do my stretches even if I feel fine because I know how quickly it can come back. I would recommend anyone seeing these guys. They made me feel super comfortable, I love their staff they are sooo friendly, I typically experience zero wait time as well. Also, I must include out of all my hospital visits, and chiropractor visits they were the first to realize the ROOT of my problem that was causing my back to keep going out constantly. I could never thank these guys enough for the work they did I got my life back I am forever grateful.

The entire staff at OPC is extremely friendly and positive. I enjoy living an active lifestyle, which for me, includes marathons and triathlons as well as team-based sports. Dr. Laiderman is an endurance athlete himself, so he understands what Im putting my body through in training and on race day. He has helped prepare me leading up to a race so my body is in optimal condition on race day as well as treating me post-race so I recover more efficiently. Hes also given me tools that I can employ at home to identify areas that need attention and keep my body fine-tuned over time. Additionally - and this is something I really did not expect and would have never even considered or realized possible - but he helped my wife and I conceive our first child (after over a year of struggles) by ensuring both of our bodies were working as efficiently and freely as they are designed to do. What hes done for my body, I appreciate every day so I can continue to enjoy being active and pain-free. But what he has done for my wife and I is something I could never repay him for.

Dr. Laiderman has literally changed my life! I was told by an orthopedic that because of the arthritis in my knees there was nothing that could be done short of knee replacement surgery and I was too young (44 years old) for that. There was no offer of physical therapy or recommended exercises. He gave me a second cortisone shot (with in two weeks) and sent me on my merry way. I was to the point that I would literally come home and cry after work because I was in so much pain. My Primary was very willing to prescribe pain medication, but that just masks the pain. I was afraid of the affects of those on my body and possible addiction. that was not an option or an answer for me. Thanks to Dr. Laiderman I have gained at least 30% mobility back in my knees, some days I am pain free. No longer an I in tears when I come from work, in fact I have even been able to get back to riding my bike and am averaging 12 miles on my rides. I can not thank Dr. Laiderman enough for giving me my life back.
