I met Dr. Rick at Round Bobbin in 2012. By the time I met him, I had been unemployed for about a year; I had to quit my job due to wrist pain so severe that on bad days holding a fork was out of the question. I had already gone through a stint of physical therapy and went to an orthopedic doctor and a neurologist. Nothing helped and no one could figure out what was wrong with my wrist. All I knew was that it was not carpal tunnel, despite what the neurologist said. So when I met Dr. Rick, I had pretty much given up hope that I would have a decently functioning wrist. The fact that I write and sew a lot was a good reason to feel depressed. Still, I put off the decision of going to Dr. Rick for a few months, a little skeptical about chiropractic. At the beginning of the year, I finally called him. Best decision Ive made in the past several years. My wrist is pretty much back to normal, and only in extreme cases does it ache a little, but the pain quickly goes away. Far far improvement from being in pain for days on end with no reprieve in sight. And this wasnt something that happened in the past few weeks; Ive been feeling great like this since early March. If I had not called Dr. Rick, I would not have been able to take the job I have now. I surely wouldnt be sewing and writing as much as I wanted. So really, I owe all that to Dr. Rick. One of the (many) things that I like about this clinic is that you dont just get adjusted and go home. They give you home exercises to do, and that heavily contributes to the continued effectiveness of the treatment. So you truly feel that you are contributing to your own wellness. I went from a state of helplessness to participating in my own journey of getting out of a state of constant pain. But it doesnt even stop there. Dr. Rick is very personable and kind, and if you have a question about another problem, such as shoulder pain I had a few months back, he would try to help you with that as well (the shoulder pain is also gone, by the way!). Some of the best advice, health wise, Ive gotten from him. If youre skeptical about chiropractic, come to this clinic. They will make a believer out of you.

Ive been having debilitating back problems fow a while now, which have gotten progressively worse over the past six months. Finally, after deciding that I couldnt put up with it any longer, I decided to seek chiropractic help, as a last resort, before surrendering to back surgery....which i dreaded. Luckily, for me, both my administrative assistant and my dentist supported me, in this decision, and urged me to do so, and Im really glad that i took their advice. Dr. Blalock (Richard) has greatly reduced my lower back pain and I believe will eventually eliminate it altogether! And that was accomplished in just five sessions. He is very personable and attentive, to your concerns, and goes to great lengths to make sure that you are comfortable and well cared for. He has an amazing staff, Lindsay, who sees to it that the place runs like a German Train Schedule, and makes your visit very pleasant. The offices are new and immaculate and easy to get to from anywhere in St Charles County. So if you are hurting in any way...please do yourself a favor and go see Richard and Lindsay at Cardinal Physical Medicine.... Im really glad that I did!!!!!

David H. Mourning Mourning

My husband David, has Parkinson’s and in the mornings, he is very stiff. I help him by lifting his arms and legs in bed to limber him so he can do his exercises. A friend told us about Dr. Rick and how he helped her so we went to see him and he gave David a treatment. He comes to our house twice a week to stretch David’s arms, legs, body and neck. David also has Cervical Dystonia and by Dr. Rick stretching his neck, it has really helped him. Since Dr. Rick has been helping David, our friends tell us how much better he is looking and keeping his head up. I highly recommend anybody that has trouble like David, to go see Dr. Rick. I also go to him for my lower back and he has been helping me also.

I started going to Cardinal Physical Medicine during the spring of 2016. It was my first time ever seeing a chiropractor. A family that I had worked for at the time had told me about how great Dr. Blalocks chiropractic office was. They had been going to Dr. Blalock for several years and absolutely loved him. I finally found the courage to go see Dr. Blalock...and it was the best decision I have ever made for my health! His office is modern and clean, and Dr. Blalock and his receptionist are always so friendly and genuine. I highly recommend going to Cardinal Physical Medicine because Dr. Blalock and his staff truly care about each and every patient.

If I could give more stars, I would! This place is amazing. The office is so open, clean, and inviting. Dr Blalock is one of the NICEST people you will ever meet. I walked in a few weeks ago after visiting his wifes dental practice next door, and I am so glad I did. Ive been going to a chiropractor since I was a child and have always had back issues, but now after almost 25 years I am getting better and stronger. Dr Blalock really takes the time to get to know you, make sure you are comfortable with everything, and comes up with a game plan to get you better. I would recommend him to every single person I know!

I was referred to Dr. Rick from a friend. I sneezed and threw my back out. I was in serve pain. I was unable to put much weight on my legs. With a few visits he had me walking. I still had it in my head I needed to find out what was going on. So off to see primary Dr. which ordered a MRI which showed I have a ruptured L5 disc and I need surgery. Well short of the story NO surgery and I owe that to Dr. Rick. I recommend Chiropractor care before surgery. Thanks Dr. Rick

My son and I have been going to Dr. Rick for over 2 years. He takes the time to listen to what is going on and gives suggestions to help beyond what he can do in the office. I feel that he truly cares about his patients. He goes the extra mile to make sure you know that he cares. For example, my son was hospitalized for over a week and we missed our appointment. Dr. Rick took the time to visit us, brought my son a stuffed animal, and gave me an adjustment.

Ive been going to Dr. Rick for a little over a year now and see him for appointments every few weeks. I have noticed a definate boost to my immune system and overall health since being adjusted regularly. Dr. Rick is easy to work with and his process is very educational, I understand what he is doing and why he is doing it. In the St. Louis Area there seems to be a chiropractor on every corner, but I can assure you that they are not all the same.
