Out of town for work and had a recurrent medical non-emergency, asked for a refill on a script until I could get my pet in later in the week when I got back home. Im very familiar with the treatment steps, and was hopeful that starting the treatment could be an option because she was in pain, and asked if this is something they would consider. I was accused of demanding a prescription with no patient history (which is obviously illegal and both of my pets are patients), was told that my pets medical issue occurred because I was neglecting my cats dietary needs (Im feeding her exactly what the vet recommended for this condition almost a year ago). The vet finally but reluctantly agreed to call in the script, which was bubblegum flavored child antibiotic liquid- for a cat. Had to call back to request tablets, went back and forth, finally got meds from a mail order supply and they are adult size capsules. Fast forward 2 days and we get a letter denying any future medical services to either of my pets and emailed me their charts. The notes from this encounter state that I refused to bring my pet in because she is aggressive and my husband is disabled (my cat is the opposite of aggressive, I wasnt home and my husband is disabled). Unbelievable to treat some people so well and others so incredibly bad. PS-Shes taking the capsules but incredibly frightened by the process of getting her to swallow them. She doesnt understand, she doesnt feel well and theyre huge. And since its a fast acting capsule, shes getting a major dose very quickly, which is destroying her natural intestinal balance and giving her diarrhea. Very grateful to find a new vet who makes more humane and concerned choices.

Hope was FABULOUS. The other night, I got a call from a frantic fiance, telling me my cocker/shih tzu mix was vomiting ALL over the house. I called his vet out in Webster Groves, and they told me the only time they could get him in was 11PM... We were going out of town the next morning, so I searched for vets around my house, and Hope came up. I called them, and they told me they closed at 7, but since it was only 6, if I brought him in, they would see him (no extra charge for the last minute visit). We went, and the vet, and assistant were very nice and knowledgeable. They gave my advice, and created a treatment plan with different options I could choose from (with varying costs). They even called to follow up with me the next day to make sure my puppy was doing well. Plus, they are so close to my house! I will be switching from Webster Groves Animal Hospital to this one, and would recommend it. The prices were reasonable, and the people were compassionate, and loving with the animals- what more can you ask for?

I am in love with the staff here. I moved away from home with my fiance and had to leave the vet I have always used for my pets. I adopted a young cat who began showing signs of illness a month or so after adopting him. I took him in and they were all so kind. The news came back that my sweet boy had an incurable illness and more than likely had the illness already when I adopted him. They answered all my questions and phone calls when he was acting odd and I was unsure of what to do. When it came time to put him to sleep they were so kind and loving towards my litthe family. They assured me that there was nothing else to do but love him until his time was up and during the whole process I felt their kindness towards us and our situation. I will continue using them and recommending them to others.

This place was a life saver for my rabbit tonight. He was very sick and the vet I usually go to is closed on Sundays and the emergency line directed me to a 24 hr place that didnt know anything about rabbits. When I called Hope, Dr, Linda called me back and met me at the hospital, she opened up on her day off for my sick bunny. She was very thorough and friendly. When the bill was more then I could afford to pay,they let me set up a future payment so my bunny could get the medicine he needed. If Dr. Linda had not opened for me on a Sunday and work with me financially I dont think my bun would have made it through the night. I will never take him any where else but here.

I was introduced to Hope through Missouri House Rabbit Society. Dr. Linda and her staff are very caring and very knowledgeable in rabbit care. She is the ONLY vet I trust my rabbits care to. Their hours are more than accommodating and it is worth the 40 minute drive from my house. Sometimes I have to drop the buns off in the morning before work and pick them up after; they have never appeared stressed out when we get back home, so I know they are well cared for there.

As a bunny parent, its hard to find vet hospitals and clinics that cater to rabbits. But Dr. B at Hope Animal Hospital has all the tools and is able to take care of my pets. Once my bunnies fought and I had to call the Vet. And Hope Animal Hospital decided to check up and prescribe meds for my rabbits despite having a full set of appointments for that day. I would definitely recommend them for your pet. :)

I have been going to Hope for years. The whole staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Dr. Linda is the best. They really care about the animals there and it shows. The whole place is spotless all the time. I fully trust them with any and all of my animals. I own a rescue and they work with me and give back to the community also. I would highly recommend Hope to anyone!!!!!
