Tom Anderson is a scam artist. I moved close to this practice and driving an hour to my trusted dentist was no longer feasible. I bought the groupon for cleaning and whitening and figured Id give him a shot outside of my insurance allotment. Little did I know that he would tell me half a dozen of my teeth needed fillings. He was super eager to know about my insurance and how it could mostly be covered. A month later I went to my regular dentist as well as another 3rd dentist to get multiple opinions as Andersons opinion startled me. Sure enough, not even close to any cavities by the other 2 doctors. One even mentioned how he heard of Tom Andersons reputation as a shady character. Please, go somewhere else.

Im more than a little disturbed that this man continues to practice and I after years of being in the business, offers Groupons to continue to stay in business. Just be warned - I was a patient of his for a year. He replaced all of my many fillings and maxed out my insurance. As a result, I experienced severe non specific mouth/tooth pain for several years that required antibiotics to stop it. He uses gas instead of novacaine on most patients. Im surprised that by this point he has not been sued and put out of business by someone. There are plenty of honest dentists out there - go find one.

I had the most horrible experience in my life at this dentist office. I had to get a crown put on one of my back teeth (what they said was a simple easy procedure) and left with a huge hole they cut into my cheek. I had to go back and get stiches to close up the huge cut they left in the side of my mouth. I decided to go to another dentist and when I called to transfer my xrays, I was treated like dirt. I will never go to this office again!!

This dentist told me I had 3 cavities and 3 pre-cavities, so I paid to have all 6 filled. This was weird since I had never had a cavity in my life. When I went back the next time, they told me I had 2 more. I had another dentist take a look and he said I had nothing wrong with my teeth and that you should never fill a "pre-cavity"! Will never go back!!!

Insurance scam. They said I had 4 cavities that needed to be filled. Ive never had a cavity in my life. Decided to switch dentists, and the next one told me that I had 0 cavities. I;ve had friends tell me similar stories. hey are just trying to charge your insurance as much as possible instead of actually taking care of your needs.

Im surprised by these negative reviews. Ive had very positive experiences with my dentist there (Dr. Thigpen) over the past 4 years. The only negative experience I had was with a hygienist whos no longer at the office. I would recommend my dentist to anyone.

Had nothing but good experiences with this practice. Ive had a couple different dentists here and they are always good. Never rushed, and always give me time to get fully numb. They have a good movie selection for watching during your dental work.

Extremely overpriced. I was told I needed $10,000 worth of work that another dentist told me was ridiculous. I was charged $120 to have my perm retainer removed without my consent. Bad deal.
