Please bear with me...I have a family of 6; a wife and four children who range from 15 to 23. We got our first family pet 11 years ago. We named him Trooper because he was a rescue kitten. He was placed in a box with a litter of his brothers and sisters. The box was taped shut and thrown in a dumpster. After we adopted him he was the heart and soul of our family, spoiled in every way. He became very sick and lost over half of his body weight. We brought him to Dr. Mitchell. Mind you I was not a customer at the time. However, I am a Police Officer in town and I knew Dr. Mitchell from past experiences and he is our department Veterinarian for our K-9 program. I figured hed could help. I was able to get in to see Dr. Mitchell within a day. He diagnosed our beloved Trooper and began treating him. I could immediately tell that he genuinely loved animals and he had their best interest at heart. He kept Trooper for a week. I received calls daily (sometimes two) from Dr. Mitchell himself with updates. We were even allowed to visit with him. Bad luck struck us twice. Our dog wasnt doing well either. When I was visiting Trooper I had mentioned it to Dr. Mitchell. I then said he was in the car. Dr. Mitchell said, "Bring him in!" I did and he was diagnosed with Lyme Disease. We walked out with a months worth of medicine. At the sane time my dog needed to take an antacid as well. Dr. Mitchell told me he could charge me for some but offered me a cheaper option, to go down the street to a pharmacy and get over the counter stuff. Truly incredible. We lost our Trooper but Dr. Mitchell did his absolute best to do everything that he could for him, including actually caring for him. Like, really caring. In the end my wife wanted to take a paw print of Trooper. Dr. Mitchell offered to get the print for us. He even went out of his way to purchase the ink pad at Wal-Mart as he "was out anyway." What Vet does that??? Thank you Dr. Mitchell for so many things. Despite losing our beloved family member you were what made it easier for us. You were God sent. You are a pets best friend. We have used Mark for our 3 dogs for a long time. He truly cares about our dogs and will opt for less expensive options for treatment. He will also make room for you in a day if you have an emergency. The staff was outstanding and always greeted our dogs and us with kindness and efficiency. Best Vet we have ever had and have own animals all our life. He is in the career because he loves animals.

I was introduced to Dr. Mitchell by my dogs breeders (bulldog breeders, Beantown Bulldogs). He is terrific. Hes attentive and very caring, and he treats my dogs with respect and care. He explains the options and he fully appreciates that people need to be told about what, exactly, is involved before pursuing a particular course of action. Recommended in the highest possible terms.

Outstanding vet !! He really cares! I brought my kitty (Bell) to Dr. Mark for a routine checkup. He examined her and was very informative in what I could do to keep her healthy. Mitchell animal hospital takes care of my two cats. An adult around 1year old and a kitten about 3 months old. Clearly, they love animals here, and the care my cats get reflects that. Ive never had to spend excessive amounts of time waiting either. The front reception desk is efficient and very pleasant to work with. I so glad I chose them for my veterinary care.

I called for a simple appointment to get my dogs shots updated. The receptionist rudely says "Were not accepting new clients." I have never heard this phrase before in my life. If this place is going to be that smug about a simple appointment, Ill be more than happy to give someone else my business.

I have no words...that are big enough. But Mitchells is a cut above the rest! They care. I showed up on Dr.Mitchells door step , not a customer at the time...with 2 sick pets. He got my family through a very difficult time. I cant say enough to thank him and his staff for being so wonderful.

Dr Mitchell has been our vet since we moved to the area, and we couldnt be happier. We have 3 dogs and a cat, all have received fabulous care. He explains everything thoroughly and takes the time to answer all questions fully. I cannot say enough good things!
