I really love this place. I had no idea that it was a clinic the first time I went because the name I got from my insurance provider apparently was not the full name. In any event, when I found out I was a little hesitant, but it was too late...we were there. We were greeted with a smile and called in to our appointment rather quickly, already for me this was a thumbs up. Even paying top dollar for insurance as I have in the past, youre lucky if you get in to see a dentist or doctor anywhere near the time that they actual give you for an appointment. Once we were brought to the back, we were seen by a kind lady who "took pictures" (xrays) of my daughters teeth. (yes we were there 2 at a time and somehow we got right through... another thumbs up!) Then when it came time to sit in the chair we met the most wonderfully charismatic gentleman.... I dont know what his title is so I dont want to offend by giving him the wrong title, but he put the seal on it for me. He smiles and laughs with the children, makes jokes and pretty much makes it feel like it is a walk in the park. One of my kids is TERRIFIED of anything related to doctors or dentists and this guy made her laugh! I cant say enough good things about him. Once I met Dr. Stillman I saw that the place runs well because he is also a very kind man. Also wanting to make everyone feel like the dentist is not to be feared. "Everything is great!" Even when one had to end up having a tooth pulled he managed to make her feel like this would be easy and painless.... mind you it was, but the fact that she didnt panic was astounding. I know I have said a lot, but as a person that reads many reviews, when I see only 5 stars or I love this place... I tend to think it is a dishonest review. But when the story matches the review... I can believe it is backed by some truth.... I hope you feel the same way.... BTW- every other experience since going there a few years ago has been exactly the same :)

today dec 23 2016 10 am my wife call to dr stillman office in cliffside park she explain to woman in the phone she need to go to the office because my son has to pain teeh and the woman in the phone ask her for the name and last name to my son ,she try to spelling because she dont speak english good but always she found people in differents places and are very frriendly with she and try to understant she,but this woman discriminated she,the woman say her"we are in america and you have speak english "in a bad way,later the woman say her "you have come right now" and my wife explain that she dont have rate rigth now and she say" i will try to get some rate soon and go" because we dont live near to the dr office but she was very rude with she . we love dr stillman for me is a really good dentist for my son because he has autism but i think he must try to change the kind of person in the attencion for the people i think he can loose too many patient with this kind of people in his office .if he can hire some bilingual person or some friendly person for customer service you will see the different in the future , and check the reviews , im not the only person who has this problem with front desk service""very rude""".

My daughter had a cavity filled in. A month later her filling came right off! i had to wait 2 weeks for an appointment to refill. After she had her cavity filled in, a month after that, shes been having sharp pains in her tooth. The next day she went to school fine, after she fell asleep, she woke up with a lump on the side of her face!! i had to rush her to the hospital because of course they didnt have any availability for the dentist to see her!!! Even in an emergency they wouldnt take her!!!! Thank god, Hackensack Hospital offers a Dental Clinic which they took very good care of my child! Turns out, my daughter had to get her tooth pulled!!!! At 5 years old, my child had to take her baby molar tooth out! Imagine the pain I as a parent had for my child!!!!! To see my child in so much pain just because DS DENTAL did not properly do their job!!!! Never again will i step foot there again and i advise all the parents to look further somewhere else!.

AWFUL!! My kids hate going here.. Every time we go its a different dentist. The new dentist is cocky and thinks he is funny. The staff at the front desk is rude!!! They are all unhelpful and the wait is ridiculous. Yesterday the dentist gave my daughter a choice, which cavity do you want to have filled 1st, the left or the right, she said the right. Next thing we know he is doing the left, ok fine, so I ask when are you doing the right, he said oh there is not a cavity on the right. He was also all upset because I did not want him pulling a baby tooth and said you need to get a note from the dentist who told you NOT to have me pull it... Yeah ok!! Today I call because my son who also had a filling done still felt pain today and stayed home from school. The school asked for a note from the dentist, I called and they REFUSED to give me one.. I will never go back, its a factory and it should be a good experience for kids..

I took my 8 year old nephew to his 1st dental appointment at DS Dental Arts. From the staff to the doctor, everyone was very friendly and caring. We were greeted by a few ladies at the front desk in a very polite way, which made us both feel very welcomed. My nephew Daniel received a thorough cleaning from the hygienist Omar. And then he was seen by Dr. Stillman who took his time to exam him and explained to me about a few procedures that my nephew needed to get it done to improve his oral health. He was very personable and efficient. His dental assistant Azza was very sweet and attentive to my nephew’s needs. After we left the office, Daniel told me that he was excited to come back to start his treatment because he felt very comfortable and had so much fun visiting Dr. Stillman’s office. I highly recommend DS Dental Arts to everyone!!!

This was our first time here and we absolutely loved it! Omar, one if the dental hygienist, was so thoughtful and took such great care of both my kids. He took the time to explain to the kids everything he was going to do and showed them every tool he was going to use. This small gesture helped ease their anxiety and made our visit go smoothly. Then shortly after, they were seen by Dr. Stillman. He was also very nice and at the end, he praised the kids (and me) for taking good care of their teeth which made the kids feel proud of themselves and encouraged them to keep it up. It was super easy to set-up our appointment and we proceeded to the room promptly. The entire visit for two kids took less than an hour. Overall a great experience, we will definitely be back here again!
