I am a 17 year old senior in highschool. I started experiencing irregular menstrual periods and needed to see a Gynocolgist as soon as possible to get to the bottom of it. Most people would know that it takes a good month to get an OBGYN appointment. This office took me in within a week, which was wonderful at first, but it now makes sense why they were able to take me in so quickly. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! To start off, there was about an hour wait for both of my visits. Everytime I went in the office I ended up crying, which has never been a problem with any doctor before. Dr. Agnallo does not care about her patients, only about herself and the views that she has. She was a very conservative women that spreaded her ideals during my two visits with her. She was a very expressive person, very loud, and sometimes even disrespectful. On one visit, my grandmother came with me and Agnallo proceeded to call my grandmother overweight in a joke used to explain my sudden anxiety that I was experiencing. I thought the anxiety could be due to the hormone changes that birth control caused and explained that I never had problems with anxiety before and also explained that my friends experienced similar symptoms on the same birth control. Agnallo proceeded to say, "and I wasnt always fat... right grandma?" Never had I been so mad at an individual before. How disrespectful and unsympathetic could an individual get? She made me feel stupid for what I believed and also insulted my grandmother. Not okay. She didnt even help to resolve my issue of needing a different type of birth control and left me crying in her office. Agnallo refused to prescribe any other type of birth control to me except Lo Estrin. After that visit, I quickly changed to a new Gynocolgist that would not let their personal views get in the way of how they treat patients. That is the way that all doctors should be. If you know better for yourself, find a doctor that actually cares about your wellbeing and is willing to look at all options available to fit your personal needs.

I am 21 and have been going here since I was 16. I went at first to be prescribed birth control, because even though I was not sexually active yet I knew I would be. and she told me I was too young to be having sex ( with my boyfriend of 4 months at the time) and sent me away. I was prescribed it two years later when I was missing periods, and I was sexually active (with the same boyfriend) at which time she told me it was irresponsible of me not to be on birth control and sent me away in a panic to get a pregnancy test. After a few stressful days I had to call to get the (negative) test results. Every time I go I wait until AT LEAST an hour after my scheduled appointment time to get into the exam room only to be seen for about 3 mins. I have also not gotten the Gardasil shots, for my own valid reasons and Dr Agnello belittles me about it every time I see her, even after I explained to her that we have no family history of HPV and the only partner Ive ever had and ever plan to have (same boyfriend from when I was 16) has gotten the shots. I am switching doctors. I am sick of never getting calls back, even if I run out of birth control, (which I know is my fault) or have a medical question. And I am sick of having her morals shoved down my throat every time I go into the office, and I am sick of waiting forever to see her, leave at least a 2 hour block of time in your day if you are going in. The receptionist is great, but overworked. Dr Agnello is better for older women who do not have so many questions, or concerns, but for younger girls like myself she is awful.

DO NOT GO TO THIS DR. I only went because my other gyno that I had seen for years moved. Her office is not clean, when I was disrobed from the waist down and was about to put my feet in the stirrups, the left one had all this female fliud gunk and blood...she turned so red and said "oh my god im so sorry, do you wanna go in another room"? and she was cleaning it up with alcohol and Im like, "im not dressed", ...she put covers on them and I had exam. this was my 100% covered well visit, they insisted to take a copay which was incorrect, then charged my ins a well visit and an established visit code (I NEVER saw her before in my life)...because I said im going through menapause, she gave me some tips, so she charged ...she talked about herself so much, her kids, that she should have dated more aggressively, she got married too late...yadda yadda....then her billing company sent me to collection when they owe me $50...when i called the office, she actually got on the phone! was talking over me, said i was getting too upset, no wonder...ive done medical billing for 20 years for specialists and I know coding...BCBS said she is wrong and she has to refund me...SHE IS A FAKE PHONY FRAUD AND a disgusting filthy woman

I started seeing Dr. Agnello about 18 years ago she delivered my third and last daughter, I felt that she really cared about me and I was not just another patient. I stayed with her for many years and then moved about 40 minutes away and decided to try someone closer to where I lived. What a mistake the doctor I had was like a robot I felt like she was judging me the whole time and would have a tablet in front of her while asking me questions and checking off stuff, I felt like an inconvenience to her. It was so bad that I stopped seeing a gynecologist all together. Then I stopped being foolish and looked up Dr. Agnello and went back to her. It was like seeing a long lost friend she was still the same and even remembered me. I would recommend everyone to Dr. Agnello she has a great bedside manner she is kind and doesnt treat you like an inconvenience and takes her time when she is with you. I just love her she is the best.

I brought my 16 year old daughter to Dr. Agnello at the suggestion of her pediatrician due to chronic problems related to her menstrual cycle. It was my daughters first experience seeing a gynecologist. Dr. Agnello insisted that I stay in the room for the pelvic examination and also while she questioned my daughter whether she had any sexual history. Although my daughter denied sexual activity Dr. Agnello proceeded to lecture my daughter about the foolishness of sexual activity, the ruthlessness of boys/men but also indicated her practice of refusal to prescribe birth control to teenagers. The doctor then ordered more than $500 in lab tests but no one from the office called with results. After 3 weeks l called the office for the results and was given a distracted/vague response that all tests were "negative".

If you are a pregnant woman looking for an obstetrician, she seems to be a good choice. I got the idea that she has a passion and prioritization for OB but not so much GYN very quickly. So, If youre a young woman who just needs a general Gyno for annuals and birth control and womens health, I do not recommend. She only works with the pill, and there are plenty of other options for women out there. I felt her response to my not having good experiences to the pill to be very inappropriate for someone in her field. The wait is also very long because its only her, I spent about 2-3 hours there, and I understand there were extenuating circumstances, but I would rather have either been told ahead of time about a potential delay or rescheduled.
