I have never been more traumatized by a vet visit in my life, not to say the least of my dog who was the one receiving the treatment. I would not be surprised if this scars him from vets for the rest of his life. I NEVER NEVER will go to this place again and regret ever taking my dog here. Dr. Weingartner is a cruel man and should never be allowed another f**king animal in his life. I went to him for my puppies last check up and round of vaccinations. He had been biting when I reached under his stomach, and I was unsure if it was behavioral or if there was something wrong with him. I mentioned it during our check up and they put a muzzle on him for precaution prior to the exam. He was rough with an already scared puppy. He got down in my dogs face and aggressively and loudly yelled "NO!!" while pulling at the scruff of his neck. This ramped up my already nervous puppy and made him even more on edge. While palpitating his stomach my puppy growled when he reached a certain spot. Instead of further examining him, he responded in kind again aggressively yelling in my dogs face. When it came time to give him his vaccine, the lab tech pressed my dog firmly against his body while he squirmed. Not once, attempting to calm or sooth my dog. When Dr. Weingartner then went to give him his shots, my dog was squealing and flipping out. His muzzle came off and he bit the lab tech. In response, Dr. Weingartner picked my dog up by his harness, and continued to yell in his face aggressively. He then said, "Get this dog out of here! I dont want to see this dog! NO!" He was aggressive and severely unprofessional. While I know that my dog was having some aggression issues surrounding his belly area (of which I am still not sure if it is medical) this is in no way a proper reaction or appropriate reaction for an anxious puppy. We have been to Banfield two other times and Scottie never bit or acted aggressively once. If I can give this man less than a star I would. I can never take back this utterly traumatizing experience for myself and the dog.

I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS! Dr. D. Morris is rude and pushy, she pushes surgery and unnecessary procedures just to boost her sales. I gave her the benefit of the doubt at the beginning because I figured she was just better with animals than people, but no shes just more focused on money. We spent thousands so far even with the wellness plan and although things started out okay at this location then they seemed to find a way to start charging us extra for everything under the sun. Any chance they got they kept her all day for testing, she had multiple instances where they said she needed anesthesia in order to be treated for what I had thought were minor issues, and the only answer Dr. Morris has for any of your questions is "she needs surgery." Well even though Dr. Morris has been our primary vet I went elsewhere for another opinion because there was no way I was letting her do another surgery and sure enough the new vet said that he would never recommend surgery for our dog, that sees in good health and she may just have an allergy or need a diet change. Unreal! So we bought a different type of food that he recommends and so far shes been great. Dr. Morris wouldnt even discuss any surgery alternatives with me, just kept quoting me $1500, which just leads me to believe that shes abusing her power to make more money. Banfield corporate wont let us cancel our wellness plan either of course, they are just as bad. Save your money, your dog can be treated much better for cheaper elsewhere.

This was the worst place I have EVER taken my dog. They hurt my dog & were trying to rob me blind from the moment the Tech. walked in the room. My 5 yr old Lhasa-poo had thrown up, was shaking like a leaf & had blood in her stool. With that said, the Tech wanted to take her temperature rectally and shoved it so hard and so fast my tiny dog shrieked. I was in shock. The tech showed no emotion over it, she just began to try and find more reasons for us to spend money, unnecessarily. Then in walks the Vetrinarian and SHE starts trying to pick apart, not only my dog, but became VERY disrespectful to my fiancé and I. Then they hand us an $1150 proposal to test my dog for EVERYthing. I reviewed the list, it was crazy, they wanted x-rays and a ton of tests. I was so appalled by how they treated her in front of me, I could not bear to leave her alone. We walked right out. My dog was looking better so I brought her home for a few hours. FFW 5 hours later, she is bleeding from her rear. The 24 hour Animal Hospital on Bloomfield Ave was our next and only choice. They gently inspected my dog, were compassionate, thought it was one thing, only wanted to run that ten minute test, she came up positive. Caught the problem in good time and after keeping her overnight, the total came to $617.00. I was disgusted, that ONE TEST WAS NOT EVEN ON THEIR LIST OF TESTS AT BANFIELDS! It would have cost me nearly $1800 had I stayed there and not followed my gut instinct.

Stay away from the Banfield here at all costs!! Stay away from DR Morris!!!! Took our 10 week old puppy to get vaccinated..we were told he had an ear infection and had to stay to have his ears cleaned. When we came back to pick him up, his ears were dripping water and blood. They still had ear wax in them. Our puppy had had so much anesthesia that he was drooling on himself. When we pointed out to Dr Morris that the ears were still bloody and dirty, she lied and tried to tell us it was medicine (which she showed us--- the medicine was clear not red like the stuff coming out of his ears). She then proceeded to shove her finger in his ears until he cried... then repeated. We had to grab the 10 week old puppy away from her to get her to stop. I was easily to clean his ears later without him crying. She then ran a bill for over $300 for everything, including 20 to look into the ear. And $22 for removing a tick, that we were removing ourselves when we came to the office and she stopped up. We ended up taking the puppy to another vet the next day for a confirmation. There was no sign of an ear infection. Whatever you do..do not take your pet here.

This has to be the worst Banfield the Pet Hospital Ive ever been to! In my 10 years of living in the USA, Ive lived in 8 different States and therefore Ive visited different Banfields. Dr Morris seems to have no love for animals whatsoever. She charged me $500.00 for one of my dogs anal sacs to be flushed! A month later she advised that they needed doing again, I said no just give her antibiotics and surprise surprise they cleared up. My other dog she wanted to put her under and take off a cyst on her elbow, luckily I was going on vacation and didnt have time, surprise surprise when I got back it had self healed itself. If I hadnt had a Wellness Plan already in place for my dogs, I would have gone here. Luckily Im moving again and going back to a Banfield I know and love. But for anybody who wants quality service and a doctor who actually gives &$@$ then this isnt the place for you. Do yourself and your best friend a favor and find somewhere better.
