The staff and doctors at Animal Care Center in Riverdale are awesome. My Maximus is an 80lb pit/lab mix and the friendly and kind staff treated him as if he was a 10lb lap dog. NO other vet or vet staff has EVER treated Max like just another dog and I’ve taken him to several!! They treated him with No fear, No prejudice, No muzzles. An amazing experience. I have been going to them for over 6 months now and Dr. Morris has been attentive, caring, kind and understanding that my Max is my everything. She has put me at ease during every stage of care. The office staff is friendly and they obviously love their job. I’ve even gotten follow-up phone calls on Maximus’ care. They are the only office in my area opened on Sundays and they have very convenient hours all 7 days. I highly recommend Dr. Morris and her staff to any pet owner who wants to feel like their pets matter and that they are a priority for however long or short the visit.

Animal Care Center has been wonderful for me and my dog. We started coming to Animal Care Center a few years back and are extremely pleased. Whether its a routine nail clipping or something more, the doctors and staff have always been helpful and informative. I have always been greeted when I come into the office and they make an effort to know each of their patients. My dog has pancreatitis and I was extremely upset to find that there was anything wrong with him. The doctors and staff assured me that he would be okay. Several months later, after being on a prescription diet, he is doing great and hasnt had any issues. I must also add that Animal Care Center is extremely affordable. I have never felt that I was paying too much for any service or treatment. Thanks again!

This is the best veterinarian center you could get. I go to Dr Debra Morris and I will never go to anyone else again. She is caring , gentle and understanding. She really is all about what is best for your pet. The office is in an easy location. The hours are convenient and all the staff is pleasant and knowledgable. I Found this place when my girlfriend found a woodpecker with a broken wing on her property and she called many vets and Dr Debra Morris was the only one that cared enough and told her to bring in the bird. My girlfriend couldnt speak more highly of her from just one encounter with her. I am extremely happy with this office and with her. I would highly Recommend this vet to anyone and everyone. You will not be disappointed :-)

My experience with Dr. Morris and his wife Dr. Debra Morris at both locations has been exceptional, even Mookie is happy!!! Their reception staff and vet techs are kind and courteous, and they really stick to their appointment schedules (unusual I know) to fit us in without any problem when we have a sick visit or just regular check up. Waiting time is usually minimal. I also love the way they take care of their animals and communicate not like a typical vet. They send us newsletters, write interesting blog posts, provide a laminated animal info card w/vaccinations info for your wallet, and even Dr. Morris calls me herself to deliver the results of all Mookies tests! All in all, they have earned my business for life.

My husband and I have been bring our animals to see Dr. Debbie for several years now, and I cant recommend her work enough. (She has saved the lives of two of our animals in emergency situations, so we are obviously very grateful to have found her!) The office staff are wonderful, their hours are great, and they always take excellent care of the animals they see. We no longer live in the area, but we still drive to Riverdale for appointments here, as we dont intend to change vets! They also help animal rescues in the area, as well as with wildlife rehab. Highly recommended.

Dr. Morris and his staff are wonderful. I had to put down my Shih Tzu last year in August. As you can imagine, it was incredibly difficult for me. They were beyond being compasionate and understanding. I put on a very strong front, but they knew exactly how I was feeling. It is so comforting to know that my dog last visit was in the home of such caring people. Even though I moved from the area, I drive from Cedar Knolls to take my other Shih Tzu for her annual checkup to Dr. Morris. I would not change VETS for anything in this world.

I had a wonderful experience at Animal Care Center in Riverdale, NJ. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The doctor and technician were very friendly, kind, and concerned about the care of my dog. They were very compassionate with me and my dog. I felt my dog was in very good hands and trusted them very much. This is very important to me because my dog is like a daughter to me. Love her very much and would not trust just anybody with her. Their hours are very convenient, their location is perfect.

I was really unhappy with my last visit. Went in with a chicken who had a swollen eye... vet injects her with antibiotics and then tells me "She probably just got something in there." Then why did you inject her? Just so you could charge me $139 for a 7 minute visit? Also, this vet did not work on a farm with chickens, his experience is in a commercial poultry setting.... medicating thousands of birds at a time. I was misled and I will not be going back there ever.

Dr. Morris and the staff at Animal Care Center of NJ are very friendly. They have convenient hours 7 days a week that allow me to bring my Jack Russell/Rat Terrier mix dog Phoenix when its convenient for us. They have always been very calming with my dog, who gets a bit nervous visiting the vet, and their follow up calls to check on my dog a couple days after our visit is a very nice touch.

Dr. Mike is the most hard working vet I have ever met. He is so full of energy and will always go the extra mile for my cat. He even answered my emergency phone call in the middle of the night. I have never been dissatisfied at this office. Their new location (Companion Vet in Wayne) is nice as well.

Debra Morris laughed at us when she told us how sick our dog was. She cannot make eye contact with you when she talks and she is very condescending. I truly believe her ultimate goal is to pad the bill without ever really doing anything for the animal. I DO NOT recommend her services.

We have been going to them for about 15 years they are compassionate and kind and treated both of my dogs like family. Dr. Morris is always pleasant and very thorough. The rates are very reasonable and they dont do any unnecessary tests. We love them!

Wonderful and very caring staff, Dr. Morris is excellent and very friendly. He takes the time to explain everything, and his prices are very reasonable. I have two golden retrievers, that love mischief, I know they are in good hands.
