Lancer Square has been caring for our many pets since 1980. Dr Reeves and Dr Frasier are very caring and knowledgeable vets. No matter what the problem they always do their best to find the right treatment for our pets. They take the time to listen to our concerns and observations and are more than willing to try more than just conventional treatments if the situation warrants a novel approach. They are willing to listen to us if we have ideas about treatments. The entire staff is committed to taking the best care of our pets even if it means making room in the schedule for an emergency appt. Over the years, theyve also had to guide us through the tough decisions that come with owning pets and have always been so sensitive at a time when sensitivity is so important. We cant say enough about the entire staff at Lancer Square. We consider each one a personal friend and would highly recommend them.

Friendly but did not tell me how much she was charging me for things. I went in with a free voucher from the Plano animal shelter with the impression that I would not have to pay anything and when I went to checkout I owed over $200. They took one thing off and it went down to $131.11. I told her I already have flew medicine at home but she insisted I try what she has without telling me how much it would be. It was almost $40, only lasted 30 days and they could not take it off because they had already put it on. They husseled me good. I could have gotten a 6 month pack for that price. They must delete these bad reviews. I cant believe this happened. They should tell people how much things will be before doing things and assuming you have the money

We feel very comfortable taking our animals to the vets at Lancers Square. Weve used them for everything from medical prescriptions and vaccinations to surgery, and are very happy! We have some animals that are more "animals that hang around our house sometimes" and other that are more like family, and the vets are very understanding of our different levels of attachment. They also are willing to work within our budgets to determine what plans of care will work for us. They will absolutely do the best they can for your pets, within whatever constraints you might have. And if you have no constraints, expect nothing but the top end care!

We have had pets most of our lives and Dr. Reeves is by far the best Vet we have found. Our 14 year old kitty had a lump on her back and was diagnosed with a fast-growing cancer. Dr. Reeves removed the tumor 9 months ago. At this point we are confident he got all the cancer and it will not return. :-) This kitty has also had a bladder infection. She was very sick and we thought we would have to have her euthanized. After a few days at the Animal Clinic under Dr. Reeves care she is running around and climbing like a younger kitten. Dr. Reeves is a real miracle worker!

I love Lancers Square Animal Clinic. I have been so impressed that even after a move to Austin, I still bring my dog to Lancers. Everyone is wonderful, very patient and loving to the animals. Dr Reeves is awesome. He recognized an eye condition in my shih tzu and was able to get me into a great eye doctor the same day. When my dog had eye surgery, she became sick from the medication and Dr Reeves saw us the same day. I cannot say enough positive compliments for every one of the staff and Dr Reeves.

Recently took my 2 dogs I adopted from the plano animal shelter with a free checkup voucher ended up leaving with a 100$ bill for shots. Had multiple issues I asked to be looked at none were addressed when I asked again they gave no answers to the questions. The support staff was great while the vet had poor communication skills definitely would not recommend

The staff here really helped in the process of letting go our beloved pet of 17 years. It was not an easy process and the doctors here had the right answers to make a difficult decision a bit easier. My wife has since gotten a new shelter kitten and they have been most helpful taking care of the new one. Will definitely come here again.

Drs. Reeves and Frasier are both wonderful, as is the rest of their staff. They know every animal and owner that comes in, and their caring familiarity creates the feeling of a small town business that still pays attention to each patient individually. I also appreciate how well they understand the needs of my very small dog.
