Brought my 4yr old pup in because he wasnt feeling well, my bill was run up and up and up when no REAL answers and my dog left there worse than he went it...come to find out my baby had a mass that COULD had been removed and my boy wouldnt have suffered the way he was if properly cared for when brought here...a simply blood test then nothing - ok so do more research to figure out whats wrong...DONT call yourselves a "hospital" if you arent equipped properly....taking my baby else where within 5mins an ultrasound showed a mass!!!!!!!! Which if was taken cared of when brought here my baby would have lived!!!!!!!! Unbelievable to have a young otherwise healthy dog taken so young because SOMEONE didnt do a full work up but surely had no issue charging a ton!!!

Dr Roerig is probably fine for most dogs, but his carelessness and dismissive attitude toward my concerns resulted in or contributed to our Pugs death. I asked about different dosages and protocol for this breed and was waved off. I should have researched it more myself and gone with my guy feel because there are to be special precautions fo pugs and in fact she died almost immediately on receiving th anesthesia. Tufts University has published a gradual process to allow time for emergencies and to properly intubate. It was a heart breaking lesson. He believed she had a condition but her blood test showed normal and no concerns. He wasnt even going to give her the test and that should have been my cue to run.

I moved 1.5 hrs away and I cant find any vet like him. He will give you alternatives before opting for surgery. My cat tore his ACL and he said give him 6 weeks of bed rest to see if he heals and sure enough he did. My vet before him would have said surgery right away. He is definitely in it for the animals and not the money. He is very knowledgeable.

They are all fantastic. They took care of my little ferret during many days and were always honest about everything. I could visit my ferret every single day and they would be happy to let me do it. They really are into this for the animals and not for the money.
