If you have happened upon this review of Livingston Physical Therapy while searching through therapy options in your area, I advise you to stop your search and read the following... I am a 53 year-old male who has been an avid runner for most of my life. A year ago I tore the meniscus in my right knee. I lived with pain for 9 months until deciding to undergo surgery to repair the damage. I was advised to do physical therapy not only by the surgeon, but my friends who had gone through similar procedures. I was totally against going through physical therapy. Truth be, I didnt want to spend the money. Additionally, I dont like large facilities where I am doing personal exercises in a gym type atmosphere. I really wanted more one-on-one therapy. I went to a popular Physical Therapy facility in Shrewsbury. As soon as I walked in, it felt very "cold" to me. The receptionist was very snobby. The trainer was very good, but the entire atmosphere just seemed too big and impersonal. After the first appointment, I vowed never to go back to therapy again. My doctor warned me if I did not do therapy I would be in worse condition than I was when I first came to him. My friends were yelling at me for not considering therapy. I asked my surgeon for a recommendation and he told me that a lot of his patients were going to Livingston Physical Therapy. With much hesitance, I gave their facility a phone call. Livy was my first point of contact. She owns the facility. I wasnt certain if my insurance would cover her therapy. She had her staff call my insurance company. Within an hour she confirmed I would be covered. From the moment I walked into Livingston Physical Therapy, I felt very much at ease --- certainly a world of difference from the place I had vowed ever to return to. I was greeted with smiles and encouragement. It was Laurie who took me under her wing. I cant begin to tell you how much at "ease" I felt with her. She has a lot of patience, a good sense of humor, and most importantly, she really cares about the progress her patients make. I hit the jackpot having her and Livy as my personal trainers during my many sessions there. When I first came to Livingston Physical Therapy, I was limping and in pain. Within two weeks, my limp was completely gone and I was doing things that were initially impossible. Laurie and Livy designed an exercise program that I was able to do at home. Each and every session brought remarkable progress and escalated the healing process. I am a true believer in the benefits of physical therapy. And you know what? I would never have had such a positive attitude about PT if not for the efforts of Laurie and Livy. I actually looked forward to my physical therapy sessions. I really am going to miss both these women very much. They really helped me get better. Livingston Physical Therapy works around your personal schedule. Its rather easy to get appointments. I never felt the place was too crowded to the point where I wasnt getting the personal attention I needed. In fact, I always felt that I was getting the ladies undivided attention. They closely monitored my exercises and progress. I could probably sit here all day and throw accolades at Livingston Physical Therapy. Instead, I am going to stop here and urge you , the reader, to let these wonderful ladies help you get better. You wont find a better, more personalized physical therapy environment in the immediate area. Thank you, Laurie and Livy, for helping me through my healing!

So thrilled with my total experience at Livingstone Physical Therapy! "Livy" evaluated me the VERY NEXT DAY after I contacted office. She was professional and listened to my input regarding my fractured shoulder. Her facility is immaculate, cozy and inviting....definitely not the sterile, cold environment I had experienced at previous PT centers. Comp parking is just steps from entrance. Receptionist was efficient and welcoming. I completely enjoyed the total interest shown by Livy and Laurie ...each providing motivation & a fun experience. SO happy to discover Livingston Physical Therapy!

Christine is AMAZING! I cant express enough how impressed I am with her one on one guidance during my physical therapy. In the past, at former physical therapy centers, I would have been given a brief review of how to perform my exercises, and then left alone to do them. I can do that at home! However, Christine is there to assist and evaluate if I am performing an exercise wrong. She really wants to see you get results! I really do feel great when I leave my appointment with her! My doctor has even commented on my results! SO happy with Livingston Physical Therapy!
