If you are suffering from a horrific condition called brachioradial pruritus, which causes the most severe itching on your arms, I am here to tell you I came to SOAR Physical Therapy with this condition three weeks ago. I was treated by Nick, Physical Therapist, using cervical spine deep tissue massage and by A.J., Acupuncturist, and after just five combination cervical spine deep tissue massage and acupuncture treatments, my arms have finally completely stopped itching!! I cannot tell you how thankful I am for these two amazing therapists, who immediately researched my condition and applied their expertise to get to the root of my problem and provide me with resolution and total relief. I was suffering with sleepless nights and severe itching for many weeks while waiting to see a dermatologist, because I thought it was a skin issue due to the severe itching. After discussion of my medical history with my dermatologist and letting him know that for several years I have had cervical stenosis and cervical degenerative disc disease, he was led to the diagnosis of brachioradial pruritus. This diagnosis indicated that the itching was rooted in a cervical condition. He suggested I see my physical therapist and acupuncturist to attack this at the root cause. I am a former patient at SOAR Physical Therapy. Nick has treated me with great success, many times in the past several years for my cervical issues when they would flare. And always if I have a cervical issue, I return to Nick with total trust in his ability to provide me with the best care. This was my first experience with acupuncture, and I am so glad to have met A.J. and had the privilege of having him provide acupuncture care. partnering with Nicks P.T. to help resolve the severe itching I was having. Thank you both so very, very much for providing me with the best care and expertise ever, and helping me stop these itching arms so I can sleep again!! With much gratitude and thanks, Kathy Moyer

If you are sore you need to soar to SOAR Physical Therapy. I cannot believe the difference in the quality and quantity of therapy I have received at SOAR. Keith and Amanda are fantastic, compassionate, physical therapists that helped me get back to my optimal flexibility and strength. On May 29, 2015 I had bilateral knee replacement. I researched both my doctor and hospital but, NOT my physical therapy. Mistake! I ended therapy at my first location with tendinitis in both knees. I rested my knees for weeks and lost strength and flexibility and was utterly disgusted with my regression. That is when I did my research and found SOAR Physical Therapy. What a difference- The ratio of therapist to patient was nearly 1 to 1 for each therapy session. Keith and Amanda spent 20 plus minutes stretching my knees, legs, and hips and then they would closely monitor all of my strength building exercises. Presently, I am able to climb stairs with little effort and to walk pain free up to 3 miles. SOAR therapy gave me both the physical and emotional support I desperately needed. I am truly grateful for Keith and Amanda and for SOAR Physical Therapy.

I came to soar in may 2017 after a hip replacement. I was given an assessment and it was determined that I had very tight muscles in my lower back, and weak glute muscles. my therapist, nick, gave me exercises to do along with him working on my back to loosen it up. I noticed while doing the exercises that my left leg (not the one I had operated on) was straining to help out the right (operative) leg to perform the exercise. I asked nick if there was any other exercise I could do instead as I was struggling to do this glute exercise. he told me to keep doing what I was doing, shortly after, my left knee started to hurt, then my thigh, then my groin. as a result, I have been in considerable pain for over 2 months. I had to get a prescription for a mild opiate to help relieve some of the pain. this leg was perfectly fine before I went to soar. i finally had to get a cortisone injection in my left hip, which has helped with the pain, though i am still experiencing knee pain in that leg. this was all so unnecessary. i am furious that i had to deal with so much pain and virtual disability because of bad PT.

I had a complete right knee replacement and chose Soar for my physical therapy as a result of talking to many people. The staff is great, including the many interns. They are kind, compassionate people who truly care about you. Nick was my therapist. He worked very hard pushing me to do all the things that were necessary for a complete recovery even when I thought I wouldnt be able to. I live in Florida, but I had my surgery in NJ. When the time came for me to come back home. Nick researched the different facilities in my area & found one that he thought would meet my needs. I am happy to say that Nick was correct. When I met my therapist in FL; he was very surprised to find out how far ahead I was as a result of my therapy at Soar. I am now climbing stairs, walking without a cane, and feeling really good about my knee. I attribute my success to Soar and would highly recommend them to all. Many thanks to all but a special thank you to Nick.

I started with SOAR in 2003 because I had 2 herniated discs on L4 and L5. I had terrible pain on the left side of my back that shot down my left leg. I walked like a 100 year old man. My orthopedic doctor said that with intensive physical therapy, he thought that I could rehabilitate without surgery. i wanted to try this before an operation. I was assigned to Nick. He worked with me over a period of 6 months and followed the regimen. He predicted what was going to happen if I followed his instructions. His predictions became true. I was back doing martial arts and kayaking in 6 months with no more pain. Now in 2016, I was diagnosed with scoliosis and osteo-arthritus. I went back to Nick again to get me started on a regimen to help with this chronic, age related problem. I am back on a new regimen. in just 6 weeks he has already made a difference in reducing the tightness and providing additional flexibility. Thank you, Nick

This place is amazing! I am currently working with the one acupunturist here, AJ. I have chronic interstitial cystitis. I went through eight months, 7 different doctors, 6 ER visits, and a laparoscopic endoscopy without answers as to why I was having severe pelvic pain. Going through a semester of hell, I had multiple treatments with no relief. Pelvic floor physical therapy, hyperdistension, and installations. None of these treatments were working, so one day my mom decided to look up what would be an option for the next treatment, and acupuncture came up. She googled "interstitial cystitis acupuncture" and SOAR Physical Therapy came up. They have only one in practice there. After months of pain, AJ has helped cut my pain in half. He does amazing work and really cares about his patients. I wish I would haven chosen this as my first option for treatment. I can feel myself getting better by the week. Thank You AJ!
