I went here for a cleaning deal I got from group-on. When looking at my teeth, the Dr. told me I had about 9 cavities and needed 1600 dollars worth of work! I was so upset by this news. To make it even worse, before I had a chance to let the news sink in, the receptionist came in the room and was badgering me on how I plan on paying for this. She was asking me questions about if my credit was good enough to qualify for financing. I explained that I needed to speak with my mother about this before I made a decision and she had the nerve to ask me if I could just get my mother to pay for it. She kept saying that if I didnt do this ASAP I would wind up with a bunch of root canals. It came off as almost threatening and despite the fact that I kept saying I needed time to think, she kept trying to pressure me. I understand that your dental health isnt something to mess with but she came off as a completely insincere money hungry vulture. Instead of getting my work done with A&M dental arts, I went to get a second opinion at another doctor I paid out of pocket for. He said I had no more than three(!) Cavities and Ive gotten them taken care of for less than 250 dollars. I have no idea what the heck A&M dental was going to do to the other 6 or so teeth but whatever it was, it was unnecessary. I feel like they made my situation seem way worse than it was and then tried to pressure me into spending extra money on work I didnt even need. Im so glad I got a second opinion before spending all that extra money. I will say that the hygienist was super nice, friendly, and almost completely painless. If I thought that the rest of my treatment there was going to be like my experience with her, I would have considered going back. However, I just dont trust them enough to go back there.

I usually go to A and M Dental Arts for routine cleanings. Compared to other dentists I have been to, this place is the most pain free. I decided to get braces in September and Dr. Milman was offering a new orthodontic treatment called Fast Braces. I only had them for 6-7 months and the results are remarkable. I had horribly crooked teeth and my teeth are now completely straight. Usually people have braces for 3 to 4 years and I am very gratified that it took less then a year. I would recommend A and M Dental Arts to everyone because Dr. Milman utilizes the latest technology in conducting his treatments and compared to other dentists he is the most friendly and most pain free. The customer service is wonderful here too. I have been given a goody bag for my cleaning and offered water/ tea whenever I go. At other places, I am usually ignored. I would definitely recommend fast braces as it required less time so less pain with better results then other orthodontic procedures. He is the only dentist in New Jersey that I know of that offers this option.

Let me start by saying this was THE best experience I have ever had with a dentist (and unfortunately I have had many as i have had many problems with my teeth - some of these caused because I waited too long because I did not want to go back to the dentist because of bad experiences) My husband found A and M dental arts - went on Tuesday - loved them - came home and told me to call that nigh,t that he spoke to them and they had an appointment available for me that Thursday (thats how much he liked them!) Masha at the front desk is extremely nice and helpful. The hygenist who did my cleaning was also really nice and friendly , as were the technicians who did my x rays. Dr. Millman is very personable, funny , and true to his word PAIN FREE! In the past I have always had to have nitrous oxide for ANY procedure Ive had done to my mouth, but not with Dr. Millman. When he says pain free - he means it!! So excited that I will finally be getting my smile back thanks to A and M arts! I will recommend them to anyone I know looking for a dentist.

I am 34 years old and was terrified by the dentist from a bad experience years ago. so terrified that my teeth became the victim. I found Dr. Milmans office through my insurance and have gone 4 times in the last 3 weeks. He knows what he is doing. He is up to date with the top of the line technology/dental care. Mosha (Masha) is in the front of the house and couldnt be more caring. She saw me at the grocery store and actually remembered me and asked when I was coming in. They know my kids names and what they had done. Celeste is a God send. She makes any cleaning harmless. I cannot leave out Chritine (I hope I got her name right). She is on point, great with kids and adults that are like kids (me). I wouldnt go anywhere else but this place. Luckily it is 2 minutes away but I would drive an hour to be in the care of A&M dental. Thank you guys for resetting my precautions of dentistry. Dan-

I went here because I had a groupon for a cleaning and X-rays.These scammers had my daughter in tears...telling her she had 7 cavities. I asked for x-rays so I could get a 2nd opinion, since my Daughter has only had 1 other cavity in her whole life! they gave me a flashdrive,,AND CHARGED ME $25 FOR THAT!...I took that flashdrive to our regular Dentist (who is very well knowwith a great reputation) and he said they were just stains. A&M wanted $1,400 WITH THEIR INSURANCE!! CRAZY!!...long story short, OUR dentist is cleaning the stains and sealing the teeth for under $400...WATCH OUT...THESE PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS!!!! ...checked their reviews out, Im not the only one they tried to do this too!! RED FLAG THESE PEOPLE!

Ive always been leery of dentist visits, but going to Dr. Milman, has really put me more at ease. He is very thorough in his procedure and explaining exactly what he will be doing and what I should expect, very attentive to your needs, does not rush you out . The office is state of the art, and very comfortable. The entire staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. I need to take antibiotics every time I go to the dentist. Unfortunately, I forgot to take before I went , the office is so efficient, they had antibiotics there, gave to me, and we proceeded with my appointment. Love them !

Dr. Alex was unbelievable! Totally pain free office, root canal done in one visit in about 20 minutes and pain free! The staff is helpful, kind and friendly. I will recommend Dr. Alex to all my friends and anyone who has had anxiety about having dental work. Here you have nothing to be afraid of and you dont feel a thing! Ive been to many Dentists over many years, and my experience with Dr. Alex Milman was the best ever. I arrived 2 minutes before my appointment and was taken back to the chair right away. This was truly my first totally painless dental procedure. Im going back to him for all my dental needs, and I would recommend him to all my friends and family.
