Literally the worst doctors office in the area. The staff is incompetent, as well as the physicians assistants that are now working there. I have had a bad experience every single time I go, but havent switched doctors yet because I very rarely go to a doctor... so I often forget how bad the previous experience was each time I subject myself to this horrendous place. Last week I went in for a pretty serious back issue. Explained the issue 10 times to the PA, and everything she repeated back to me was the opposite of what I said. I thought she had to be kidding... she was not. She also tried to examine the wrong side of my body. I told her it was my left said at least 5 times and she examined the RIGHT side. When she asked if it hurt... I said no, because thays my right side. She giggled and proceeded to poke my left side. What she was looking to accomplish I am not sure. This place is a joke. You can never see the doctor anymore either. They will only schedule appointments with the PA. The front desk is just as bad. They have zero bedside manner. I told them I couldnt comfortably stand or sit because of my issue and the girl behind the desk looked at me like i had 5 heads, and then sternly asked for my copay... while making me stand there for what seemed like an eternity. They have one staff member who is compassionate and intelligent, who suggested an alternative for me sitting in the waiting room forever which I was very grateful for... because you will wait FOREVER anytime you go here. Had she not been there who knows what would have happened. Some of the front desk even doubles as phlebotomists. They convinced me to get my blood work done about a year ago when I was there. Against my better judgement I allowed it. It took the girl 10 times to find my vein and then about 10 minutes to draw the blood. It was excruciating. I have never had that problem anywhere else. Run very far away if you are thinking about using this office.

worst experience possible. Not just once, but repeatedly. First issue was that they asked insurance authorization for a procedure without having/referring to my medical history. So initially insurance decline. I had to get involved myself and remind them why the procedure was necessary and that the Dr.s office should have sent previous imaging. Then when procedure was done and quick follow up was necessary they say that they followed up with me. Never received a phone call, no voicemail. only a letter 3 wks later to call their office. When in the hospital for imaging the Metzger office had not sent hospital the info. Hospital staff indicated that the Metzgers office should have submitted this. When the next procedure was finally done I was told by the hospital that the dr would follow up same day with me. Again nothing. I had to follow up again a couple of days later and it turned out that Dr. Metzger had still not read my test. Actually still never met the doctor herself. Their office is a mess.
