One of the worst dermatologists I have ever visited. Let me walk you through my experience with Soma Skin & Laser. I called this location because I was interested in laser hair removal. I told them the locations I would like done and they informed me of the prices and packages they offer and I created an appointment. Days later I get a call saying that I would have to pay before attending my appointment as the appointment was scheduled for a 30 minute session and that would be for customers who have paid first. I said "ok makes no difference to me" so I end up paying for the 4 session package. Here is where the second screw up occurs. I arrive there a couple of weeks later for my first session. The session was for 30 minutes...lasted more like 15 minutes. It was almost as if the dermatologist was scared of the areas that I wanted laser hair removal at. He did a terrible job. About 6 or 7 weeks pass and I arrive for my second session. The same thing, a terrible 15 minute session of missed areas and a rushed process. Now here is the kicker, after the 2nd session ends I am informed that I would need to pay for additional sessions. I explain that I purchased the 4 session package...now for the big surprise...EACH AREA I WANTED DONE COUNTED AS A SEPARATE SESSION. I was NEVER informed of this and I assume this is exactly why they wanted me to pay before I even had my first visit at the location. So here I am 3-4 months after this incident I am thinking ehh forget them, I wont even bother writing a review. Well today I get a letter in the mail demanding I pay $30 for a missed appointment. I busted out laughing and ripped the bill in half. First of all I never had another appointment because I was not willing to pay more after being lied to the first time. So not only will you not receive the $30 you demand, now you get this poor review also. If they contact me again asking for this $30 I will be disputing the original charges.

I have been going to this place since 2013 and today was the worst experience ever. It wasnt the female Dr. it was the damn assistant, I go in to have my chin lasered and my love below lasered and this lady comes in the room tells me to remove my cloths, puts a pad down and said wipe myself clean and walks out. I looked around cause I thought I was in a damn dog pound or getting booked at central station. I had to go through the cabinets to get my own garment, gauze pads, and alcohol pads. I dont want to play the race card but that visit was not a equal opportunity visit. Fine, I get lasered, all done, this lady again says, your all done get dressed and check out, Im being released from central booking now. WTF! Like can I get some bacitracin like they normally would offer or maybe some sunscreen, People of color due wear sunscreen. Again I went through the draw and got the bacitracin and sunscreen. I proceed to check out and pay $329 on my MasterCard and kindly ask for a sample bag which I always get, this lady hands me a empty bag I said you got to put some samples in it, she looks at me like Im crazy. So they chucked a pre made sample bag from the side of the desk at me. The gas I burned to drive from Carteret $15 the tolls $5 the laser $329 the customer service freaking priceless. Im finding another laser and skin care facility. This one is not worth it. P.S dont call me the next day and say am I ok, because Im not!

I have been going to Soma for about 7 months now for tattoo removal. No matter where you go, what laser you use, tattoo removal is a long, painful, brutal process. I am getting 4 small ones removed, I feel the price is fair, the laser being used it doing a good job and Dr. Ehrenreich is very good at adjusting the frequency each visit as I find it hurts more and more each time lol. All of the ladies who work there are super nice, I am always seen on time, the facility is clean and I am content with the results I am experiencing. I would definitely recommend tattoo removal here if you live in the area.

When it comes to great Skin Care, SOMA Skin & Laser truly is the best!! From the moment you walk in, the staff is friendly and attentive. The office is very comfortable and impeccably clean. I am also VERG happy to say that their scheduling is consistently right on time. I have never had to wait for a scheduled appointment. I have trusted Dr. Ehrenreich with all my Dermatolgy needs, and have even brought my two sons to be treated by Dr. E. I cant say enough about the MANY positive experiences I have had a t SOMA. Give SOMA a try. I can assure you, you will be glad you did!!

Dr. Ehrenreich is a compassionate, caring doctor. He has taken excellent care of my teens and of me, and with all of the stubborn, chronic issues we have brought him, he has found effective treatments with minimal side effects. He offers far more treatment options than many dermatolgists -- sure, some of them have costs outside of the standard insurance reimbursements -- but they work. (Why go to a doctor who cant really help you? I would much rather have all tools available to me) I am so very grateful to have him as a resource for my family.

Did 3 treatments so far for my Face & not 1 worked The treatment actually made my problem look worse. Went back paid another 200 dollars, doctor talked to me like i had issues or something, he always has an attitude so does the doctors assistant. she has an attitude as well if i ask a question they answer me like im stupid Will write a negative review about these guys on every site i can find. Very unhappy with their service, attitude, and cost. 600 dollars down drain .. all i got was attitude and talked down to thanks SOMA

Note I had an amateur tattoo basically an outline..BUT very very quick, everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable, it is a legit place nothing sketchy, the procedure took about 5 minutes for me or less, and they did not make me wait I was in and out, I only paid $99, the tools are very high tech and new as well. Enjoyable place definitely recommend for Tattoo Removal lol

I was very happy with my first impression of being there. Office wasnt dark or gloomy, very bright n clean. Staff was very upbeat as well. Many people were in and out. I was taken in at my appointment time, once in the room doctor was in, in no time. Very satisfied with my visit.

Dr. Ehrenreich is an excellent doctor. I have had several laser treatments with him to treat sun damage and hyperpigmentation on my face. The results I received have been wonderful. I would highly recommend this office to anyone whos looking for cosmetic dermatology procedures.

My spouse and I have always had great experiences here. I trust Dr. Ehrenreich and appreciate that he takes my concerns seriously. We have been going for years and will continue! The facility is very nice and clean. There is almost no wait time to be seen.
