considering this so-called vet is located in pennington, most would expect a high-class top notch and loving environment. it was an extreme shock and waste of my time and money to visit this place. you arrive at secluded strange farm land which costed $70 in taxi fare to arrive from where I live expecting the best. at the moment of entry a bursting (reeking) unbearable stench of kitty urine smacks you in the face. mind you I had a cat with spraying issues and my home felt like a resort compared to this place that is supposed to be professionals in what they do. I arrived with my cat in travel bag expecting to see kitty pens. No, cats are left in whatever you brought them in prior to surgery and after. your cat is identified by a number on duct tape. then with concern on mind you ask about the lack of experience these people have caring for animals you are answered in a rushed rude manner, "oh iv been a vet since the seventies". woah what a shock id expect much more from a vet with such experience. then I decide to take a look around due to the unsettling vibe this place was giving off. I took a walk to the operating area to see what kind of environment this was, I was welcomed by bloody newspapers on the operating table, and filth everywhere. moments later I hear cries of cats not for attention but in pure agony. knowing am truly worried now because I know cats who are in pain are very private and hide their feelings. those cats where in true misery and pain. a unbelievable environment for veterinary practice grew concern to check the license of this vet. all I seen what a framed document with unreadable font that jus says veterinarian. that was enough to turn around and walk-out. No Thank you. I strongly encourage people to avoid this place it truly felt like a scam and god knows what is happening there those animals. Never again will I visit such place without a recommendation. these people arent animal lovers.

I could not disagree more with the negative review. I had a feral cat colony, and brought 10 to 12 cats here over a period of a few months. Not one cat had a problem. I brought them in the morning, and picked them up in the afternoon. The couple of times they kept one overnight for me when I could not get back in time, as long as I allowed them to deflea the cat. Staff were very professional. I ALWAYS found the place very clean, and Ive seen them cleaning all surfaces, counters & floors in the afternoons. They care deeply for feral cats. The farm is a little bit older, and slightly run down, but it IS a rescue operation. The vets own pets are well fed. She also has an area for rescue dogs, and they are also well cared for awaiting adoption. I initially went to a different spay group for feral cats, and there they must have had 30 cats in one day. McSnip is a small operation. I would give McSnip 10 stars if I could!

When reading the reviews, I was shocked by the poor reviewers information. If youre spending $140 round trip on cab fare, it would be cheaper to find a local vet! Anyway, my experience was nothing but positive. I found my cat under a porch, malnourished and covered with ticks. After nursing her back to health with the help of my regular vet, we decided to keep her. Due to my financial situation, my vet recommended McSnip. Although they gear their services towards rescue groups, anyone who is willing to help curtail the population by being responsible and getting cats fixed are welcomed. They were polite, professional and clean! My cat was spayed and home with me that night. I am very grateful for their services. Without them, I may have had to give my stray up to a shelter. Now she has a loving home and is properly taken care of. Thank you McSnip and your entire staff.
