As a first time pregnant female and as my first time experience using government assistance for health care (I always had the top notch private insurance companies) I assumed I would get sub par help and treated with little to no consideration, and even discriminated. I can only say I was so very wrong. This facility is absolutely wonderful. Nurses are amazing and knowledgeable, staff is helpful kind, caring and attentive. The facility has dentistry, adult health, pediatrics, OB/GYN, dentistry, and a lab all within its facility making it very convenient to have all your needs met (plus a main registration desk that communicates your insurance benefits to each department so no need to fret about insurance info mistakes) . They take all the NJ family care HMOs and medicare and even have the ability to sign you up for medicare if you havent signed up already at social services. From the very first minute I came to the office I received help and they provide and schedule you to have all the possible testing necessary for pregnancy. I had more non-invasive genetic testing than people I know with private insurance receive and that makes me feel very good. They make you very aware of what prenatal appointments you need and why and the nurses are always willing to sit and talk and answer any question. They dont have a sonogram machine there but they send you to st. peters in New Brunswick which is ok, they do 3D sonograms at no extra cost so I feel really pampered as my friends need to pay extra for this service in other facilities. If you have a problem they are very prompt and are very concerned with patient health. And they never let you leave without scheduling you for your next vistit which again only adds to their efficiency. Only negative thing is they have a long wait, about 30 minutes extra, because for every visit you must go to registry to be called and have you information confirmed but after that it is a breeze. They deliver in Trinitas so I cant use them for my delivery but I am going to continue my care there for as long as possible and get all my needs met by each department as I long as I live in the area.

Worst place ever. Not only they treat those with good health insurance like crap making them wait 3 hours pass their appointment time because they let those without insurance go first for non-emergency walk-ins but they hardly want to give appointments in the first place. I try calling dental for a full week at different times of the day and always leave a message but never get a call back. The only time they call is to ask for co-pays that are already paid or try to stick a bill that isnt even in my name! And just today I walked it to make an appointment and the two receptionists at the desk looks at me and then gone back to talking ignoring me and when one of them left finally I told the receptionist I wanted to make an appointment for a check-up at a later time but she says the lady that just left is the only one that does appointments and is on lunch. Come back in an hour! So I asked for a number to call telling her it seems the one I call to this office is not reaching anyone and she stop making eye contact and keeps saying come back in an hour like she NOW doesnt understand English! Im not wasting my time here anymore because I know if I get a 9AM appointment here Ill be there till 1PM only finally told that the dentist has gone on lunch or is not here for the day...AND THOSE HAD HAPPEN BEFORE!

This place is horrible went thru hell with my pregnancy. So rude and so are some doctors I had icp in my pregnancy and they didnt even care to give me ultra sounds one of them called me drug addict because I forgot a paper at home said that thats what people thinks of me... this place is horrible and I dont recommend to anybody!! Specially pregnant woman they will literally make you wait 5 hours if they have to .. thats what they did to me. I said if I can come back because my son was getting out school soon and I had already been waiting since 10 am... so they said yeah I came back and they didnt want to take me saying that I left .. and other people went before me.. and had to make another appointment which by the way was 3 weeks later .. they said they were going to call child services on me because I didnt attend to an appointment that they cancelled!!!! I told the nurse that they cancelled it .. that they called my phone and she said umm stop lying.. I decided not to go there anymore.. and would just go to the hospital.

Muy mala esperiencia estado llamando por una semana y me cuelga la llamada, o sale la maquina para que dejen mensaje ,,,y nunca me regresan la llamada y la rececionista es una racista ,no habla español que dedgracia .

This facility is so unprofessional. The staff has attitudes for days and seem irritated just when asked questions. Management here needs to really reevaluate how they conduct business on a day to day. Things are made complicated for NO reason. The building itself looks dirty and not kept up for this to be a health facility. Its a shame community clinics are ran down and the people who work there are NOT for the community. Will NEVER go there again.

Please dont come here. The service is horrible. The women at the counter talks back to you with 0 respect. We made an appointment a week before coming here and we had to wait for 3 hours till we got attended. I feel sorry for all the patients that have to come here. They treat you with even less respect if your Hispanic.

The classless receptionists think they are better than you. Sad attitudes to match the sad/dirty facility. Wait time was over 2 hours. Favorite line is "have a seat" Made fun of a patient coming in...right in front of me. Do not go to the adult medicine. You will regret it.

This is the worst community health center in Plainfield me and my newborn baby came here for a check up at 9:00am its was 1pm and still no assistance the nurse are really nice but the restionist f*#* terrible. I would not recommend this at all..

Horrible. Agree with everyone above. DO NOT COME HERE. YOU WILL WAIT AT LEAST AN HOUR AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT. Be prepared to get back in line behind walk ins. Cannot call in directly. Horrible establishment for people with options in insurance.

Worst possible care. Do not go here for anything even something minor any PCP should take care of. Here they take your money and shove you away with some bs referral all after making you wait a solid 2 hours.

no hygiene whatso ever.....nurse didnt put gloves on before giving me a tb shot. they just there for a paycheck. every corner in the clinic is dirty and staff are rude and unpleaseant.

I have been waiting here 3 hours. Staff is rude. Drs give you 5 minutes and usher you out. Equipment is archaic and a lot of the staff barely speak English.
