I chose this dentist based on the great reviews I read online. After my appointment at Sage Dental, I am assuming that the rave reviews about Dr. Fiumara were written by relatives of hers. "Compassionate" is definitely not a word I would ever use to describe Dr. Fiumara. It was almost as if she was doing me a favor by stopping in the room to look at my tooth for 5 minutes. She made me feel as though I was incompetent and that I was wasting her time with my questions. I had a root canal done on my tooth several months ago and did not have the funds to get the post and crown. Dr. Fiumara advised that my insurance would no longer approve the crown as the tooth had too much decay. When I asked Dr. Fiumara what could be done instead of the post/crown, she advised that they would have to remove the tooth. When I asked what could be done after the tooth was removed as I did not want to have a missing tooth in that space, she said "well you will be leaving here with no tooth!" I then asked about implants, bridges, etc. and her response was "well your insurance wont pay for any of that." I was simply trying to figure out how I could resolve this issue in the most cost efficient way and she was seemingly annoyed by my questions the entire time I was there. It was the way in which she said these things to me that I found most appalling. She made me feel like I was an idiot for not having this done sooner and that it was my own fault and she did not have time to sit there answering my questions now because of my own poor choices. She made me feel so terrible that I actually tried to explain to her that I did not have the funds to get the post and crown; that I had lost my job and had to pay for everything with my credit cards for months and so I could not even do the financing option. Her response to my trying to "defend myself" to her, the DENTIST, was this: "I have my own financial problems." Even when I asked how much an implant would be, she callously replied "I have no idea." I feel that since they specialize in implants, she should have enough knowledge to give a patient a ballpark estimate as to the cost of an implant - especially since she had already advised that my insurance would not cover an implant and that I would simply pay Sage Dentals fee for the implant. If for some reason she did not know this information, perhaps she could have found out for me. If you are just going in for a cleaning, the rest of the staff seemed very nice and helpful but I would definitely avoid Dr. Fiumara at all costs.

My usual doctor there is Dr fiumara I LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE HER!!!! Shes amazing. Not only is she great at her job with dental work and all but shes compassionate. I had the other doctor and while he was nice and all Dr fiumara is my favorite unlike other doctors she takes the time with you. You dont feel stupid for asking what would seem to be simple questions you dont feel rushed she talks you through everything shes doing shes sweet kind gentle and knows her stuff. I feel the dentist is the worst doc to ever go to. But doctor fiumara makes me 100% at ease. The office staff is lovely as well. Christina one of the main girls there makes you as well feel at ease. All and all sage dental makes you feel like family. And its comforting to go there for minor and major dental work.

Dr. Israeli is an excellent Dentist, the best I have ever had, done the job very well, his prices are good, very competitive and all the staff over there is a joy, they are all like a big family, I had an awesome experience and will keep using their services in the future for any dental needs, p.s being a big scary baby, let me tell you that the procedures I had done for an implant were painless, seriously so glad since I was so scared! Would recommend that office anytime. NB
