Dont deal with these people. Apparently AC hires crackheads, idiots and lazy people. The first person they sent me was high. The second one locked herself in the bathroom to talk for over an hour. I had to train the main caretaker how to use a broom, an ATM, a coffee pot... During a medical emergency, I told her to call 911 and she froze. The Poughkeepsie office has a blatant disregard towards their clients. I was left to fend for myself on a Saturday. I am confined to a wheelchair, unable to get food or do other tasks. I was told to hang in there, it was only for one day; that I could handle not having a care taker for "only one day." If you have a death wish, AC is the perfect provider.

I wish I could give negative stars because hey would get 5 of them. They lie about everything, and when they get caught in a lie they countine to lie. They took one of the best Aides we had and then lied claiming a tragic event. I have complained to head quarters in Texas and they refer the investigation back to the same people who preptorate the lies !! Someone from Department of Health should investigate this business for unethical practices. Stay away is the best advice I can offer.

My first aide was a drinking pot smoking woman with an attitude who cancelled many times due to being out too late, didnt clean properly and left early. The second seems to speak in tongues, she makes no sense at all. Are there no normal people helping the elderly/disabled? All this on the taxpayers dime.
