We LOVE the doctor, but the nursing staff leaves something to be desired. We are not alarmist parents and have to see a doctor for infection MAYBE once a year. We had a situation where our child was not responding to the antibiotics. Our doctor was out for the day and we were told by the nurse, "I dont know what you want us to do about it" when we asked for help regarding her progress. This is unacceptable behavior from someone who has chosen to be a care-giver for their profession!

Dr. Maier is absolutely wonderful! She goes above and beyond. If it wasnt for her I wouldve switched offices years ago. The receptionists and nurses are another story. Very rude and argumentative. Ive been given test results for others patients by mistake from the nurse and have always had problems getting my daughters monthly prescriptions filled until this past year when I started leaving messages for the Dr myself. Its a shame especially for a Pediatric office.

WARNING: You cannot go in for a well visit and talk about any health concern without being charged AGAIN for for a sick visit for voicing that concern. This is shady, shady billing. Talked to the doctor who said it was likely a mistake and didnt care if the fee was waived then talked to the office manage who made up lies about what the doctor said to him. We along with 3 other families are leaving due to poor staff, shady practices and unprofessional behavior.

My family have been patients at this office for 12 years. I have never had a bad experience with any of the staff members. Several of the doctors have been at the practice for the entire 12 years we have been going there. It can be a bit daunting to get an appointment for a well child visit with Dr. Smith-Burk. I have never had an issue getting a same day appointment for any of my children when they have been ill.

The Doctors are the best in regards to the services provided, and their sincere concern for children and their families. The front line staff on the other hand have really poor attitudes. I often get the feeling that they do not like the line of work theyre in.

Normally good but I just had the WORST EXPERIENCE at this office, not being informed of an HOUR WAIT at a pediatricians office is insane and they should learn to call and let people know so we dont pack up our sick kids and

If you have a computer and a bit of common sense than this place isnt for you. After seeing three of the doctors my opinion is that the founder is the only one that knows her medicine.

My children have been seeing Dr. Hessert and Dr. Kame since birth. Both have been excellent in treating our kids. I cannot recommend this practice more! They are fantastic.
