I have finally found a dentist that I can trust. I have been in Wilmington for 20 years and have had some really bad experiences. Unfortunately these bad experiences have left me terrified and missing teeth.I searched the Internet and read reviews and "Burns Family Dentistry" had great reviews. I liked that they were a husband and wife team. I had a tooth hurting really bad and Jenny got me in to take a look. Since that time Dr. Eric has taken the time to return my calls and ease my mind as I move forward with a treatment plan. He is compassionate and encouraging. He did not get annoyed with me asking about Mercury removal and relinquished any fears I had about having them removed. Today I had old silver fillings removed in two teeth one tooth was replaced with new composite and the other tooth was crowned using their Cerec porcelain crown and it is beautiful. I even got to watch them mill my tooth. All of this was done in one trip. Absolutely NO pain! I never even felt a pinch from the needles. I cannot express what a relief this has been for me. Now I can work on replacing teeth and getting my teeth back to where they should be. Dr. Eric has my best interest at heart and absolutely knows what he is doing! Sorry so long but I hope this helps someone else save their teeth that has given up on finding a dentist that they can trust it. YOU are worth it :)

LOVED IT!!! I have always hated going to dentist appointments and the anticipation before them. Since I started going to Dr. Ward, I have looked forward to my visits there. Even when I had to get my wisdom teeth pulled, I knew that I was in good hands and felt completely relaxed. A big thing between a dentist and I is trust. Dr. Ward is extremely friendly, trustworthy, and easy to talk to. I get the feeling like he has nothing else to worry about but me when he is in the hygiene/operatory room with me. The staff there was very friendly and always had a smile on their faces, even when they were cleaning my teeth. Every time that I visit that office, not only do I feel that awesome minty feeling that you get after your teeth are professionally cleaned, I almost want to stay and hang out with Dr. Ward and his staff. They are so fun to talk to and to interact with that I always end up wishing my appointment was longer; at my old dentist office, I just wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible. To conclude and summarize this rating, Dr. Ward is the best dentist that I have ever had and his office is the place that I want to go if I need anything done. If you have not yet called or visited Dr. Wards office, I encourage you to call him up. I know you will not be disappointed! Laken

Best Visit EVER!!! Im not a fan of going to the dentist but Dr. Ward and his staff are Awesome! I did not have to wait. Then the assistant gave me a tour of the office and staff- very friendly and down to earth. I didnt have any discomfort when it came to the needle part. The doctor talked me through what was going on the whole time. They also took pictures of my teeth to show me what they looked like. I feel more comforable with coming to the dentist now and will continue to see Dr. Ward. Thanks guys for the best dental care ever! ;) I will tell all my scared friends out there to come see you guys!!!!

My experience there was awesome! As soon as i walked in, all of the staff greeted me with a smile and after my first appointment, they all knew me by name. Dr. Ward is always happy to see me and up-beat, no matter what the situation. During the holidays, he told me happy holidays and we talked about what my plans were for the week. I feel like he genuinely cares for each and every one of his patients. This is not just a job for him, this is a passion and he shows it with every patient.

I had SUCH a great experience as a new patient with Burns Family Dentistry! It all started with making an appointment with Jenny; I had a hiccup with my insurance policy and she was amazingly helpful and got it resolved quickly. Keri is a great hygienist and did a wonderful job with my teeth!! Then Dr. Casey came in and was so warm and inviting. Everyone was truly so kind, and I cant wait to see you all again in 6 months!

I have been going to this office for at least 15 years! The Burns have been so awesome since they took over. They both make me feel very comfortable ever time, even though i hate getting a numbing shot! Complete makeover with the clinic, the staff is awesome. They keep me on track with my dental care which is exactly what I need, friendly reminder calls every appointment. Definitely recommend them, hands down! -"Jessie"

Just had to get a filling redone and it was probably the closest thing to a pleasant experience you can get for that. My dentist at the time (Eric Im assuming) had a great bedside manner and kept me informed at all points of the procedure and prior to performing it. The hygienist was friendly and the receptionist helped me find a way to finance as I dont have insurance. All in all, an excellent experience.

Best dental experience EVER! Jenni was so welcoming as I entered the door. Nice to meet more Coastie families! ;) Carey did a great job cleaning my teeth and providing informative preventative treatments. Dr. Burns was very patient and gave great advice. They were so great, my new patient experience will be hard to follow up! ;)

Dr. Ward and his staff have done a great job for our family over the past few years. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the community. Coming from a rather "old school" dental practice to Dr. Wards practice was quite an eye opening experience. I am glad we made the switch.
