Due to the condition of my teeth, I decided to check into dentures. I had consulted two other dentists before my trip to Acadia - from the first time meeting Dr. Baqai, the decision was simple. He and his staff were attentive while I explained my dental history and the decision to obtain dentures. Dr. Baqai spoke briefly to me about alternatives but, quite honesly I had spent so much time at dentists throughout my life that I really wanted an end to all of the repairs that were only going to continue. He was accepting of my decision and I sheduled an appointment for the extractions. I was naturally apprehensive but, the staff and Dr. Baqai put me at total ease - from the time I sat in the chair, had the extractions, and the temporary plate in place, 45 minutes has passed. I couldnt believe how quick and painless this all took place ! Anytime I called needing adjustments or with questions everyone I dealt with at Acadia went out of their way to be helpful - always being kind. There was never any dread walking into the facility - they make you feel so comfortable - I felt as though I had a new group of friends. I would highly recommend this dental office and Dr. Baqai to any and all.

I left with a cut lip and feeling violated. Dr Baqi was rude, pushy, insensitive, and the only way to describe his treatment of me is "violent." He had no compassion for someone who experiences anxiety at the dentist and insisted that I get over it. All I wanted was some lidocaine on my gums before an injection, not a huge deal, right? His drilling was so violent I was being lifted out of the chair, no exaggeration. He tried to get up and leave without polishing my filling and with a huge chunk of epoxy on the inside of my teeth. He just did the front and called it done! He seemed angered and insulted when I pointed out that there was an extra tooth worth of epoxy stuck to my teeth that he just left there. When he finally did polish my filling, he was pushing so hard and being so careless that it slipped out and CUT MY LIP! Dr Baqi didnt even seem to care that he hurt me! He just stopped while I touched my lip in disbelief, then mumbled "sorry..." under his breath and went at it again! Ive had terrible pain in the tooth he worked on ever since he mangled it. I left feeling downright violated. I will not be returning here and dont suggest that anyone else go either!

BEFORE coming here,I had gone to a one day dental place for my extractions and dentures two years ago. I had given up on ever looking like the old me again, and I would be miserable with my dentures forever. I decided for one final effort, to try Acadia in Hagerstown. Walking in the staff was very pleasant and made me very comfortable. It was a painless process and 2 visits, I LOOK LIKE ME AGAIN!! My old teeth were sooo big compared to my new ones. WIsh I could post a picture! They fit great and I no longer need adhesive to keep them in, which is HUGE for me. This was such a wonderful experience for me that my husband decided to go and get his teeth done too. He has had horrible experiences in the past and is very leary of dentists. After his extractions and new smile, he returned to work the NEXT DAY. His face unbruised, no swelling... couldnt even tell he had it done. He has NOTHING but AWESOME things to say about DR Baqai. I soo wish I would have gone here 2 years ago instead of the road I choose. My husband is already eating almost everything, and its only been one month and he looks and feels wonderful!

Dr Baqai’s staff was very friendly professional helpful and knowledgeable. My dentures broke over a weekend. He was able to get me in quickly and repaired them on Monday. I decided I would need new dentures soon. They did not pressure my decision and were able to make the initial casts that day. When I was going for my final fitting there was a wreck on I-81. I called to tell them I may be late. They called me back and told me the best way to get around the mess. I was still late but they rearranged their schedules to fit me in. His office is clean, modern and easy to get to. Dr. Baqai took the time to listen and explained everything in terms I could easily understand. His manor was very professional, friendly and relaxing. My dentures were done quickly and are very well made. After Dr. Baqai did some final adjusting they fit perfectly. I would strongly recommend Acadia Dental to anyone in need of dental work

This was the best experience i have had at a dentist office yet. I needed to have all my teeth pulled upper and lower. Then they would put in temporary dentures until my gums fully healed. The staff there was completely honest about the procedure and very kind and knowledgeable. I never had to wait long for my appointments which is greatly appreciated. Dr Shariq Baqai is a very efficient dentist and his dental technicians were completely patient with me. They seemed to really like there job, which to me usually makes the difference. I honestly cant say a bad thing about them. I am now just waiting for everything to heel to get my permanent dentures. I would fully recommend them to anyone. He pulled 24 of my teeth and i didnt have any pain or bruising. I was out in public the next day and eating! I cant thank them enough.

Hands down the most professional, compassionate, understanding, and experienced Dentist and staff I have ever had the privilege of going to. I have had dental issues since I was an infant. A year ago I had 11 extractions in one day at another dentists office and had a horrible experience. A month ago I found and started working with Acadia Dental in Hagerstown. The entire staff and Dr. Baqai were simply more than I could have hoped for. They calmed my fears of completing the process of extractions and getting my new teeth. I cannot express the level of gratitude I have for them going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Not too mention my wonderful new teeth! A day after surgery and I feel great. Thank you!

I have had problems with my teeth on and off again for over 8 years and I went to see Doctor Baqai. In every Dentist visit that Ive made in that time not one time did the Dentist come out to greet me. This time he did, and he was very honest about how bad my teeth were and what his plan was. I had done a great deal of research on-line and other places and I cannot express my gratitude to Doctor Baqai and his wonderful staff for taking me on this journey and being there for me every step of the way. I have a full plate up top which feels so much better than those awful bad teeth that had become diseased over the years(hereditary). Thanks Doc, for everything and I will see you soon!

I have had extensive dental work throughout past 45 years. Many crowns replaced 3 times or more. My experiences with young, aggressively priced dentists, were becoming too costly and unreliable. I was fortunate to find Acadia Dental, Dr.Baqai, and staff. My dentures have provided comfort not evidenced for a number of years. (Total office visit time, less than 2 1/2 hrs.) I, personally like Dr.Baqai. His qualifications and experience are unquestioned. On top of all, he does not hesitate to tell you: "I like what I do, and I want my clients satisfied." I visit Acadia, for all my dental care and maintenance. I hope to remain a loyal client as long as my health permits.
