**I only went in for a prenatal interview.** The receptionist was very kind, upbeat, and pleasant. The office was very clean and put together. The pediatrician is where I had my "What the..." moment. I plan to deliver my child at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center, and while I took my tour there, I was told that in order for my birth plan to be honored, I had to have it signed by a pediatrician. I decided to see this one. I advised him that I would like to do delayed cord clamping whenever my baby was born. He stated to me that doing DCC to a newborn was very bad and could CAUSE anemia. I was weary of this and did a little more research and found (on Google scholar) in several academic articles that DCC actually does just the opposite of what he said. Looks like Ill be looking for a different pediatrician. :/

I really like this location. My kids see Dr. John. She is very friendly and attentive. We dont feel rushed at all. Excellent bedside manner. The nurses are very responsive and usually answer calls directly or within the same business day. Never long wait times in the lobby. Highly recommend.
