Doctor Melanie Conolly was fine for little things, but when it was a life and death call, she messed up badly on me. And then when I called her after having nearly died from a gangrenous ruptured appendix that she misdiagnosed before AND AFTER it ruptured, she said I had looked too good for it to have been my appendix. I hope she now knows the appendix is not on a persons face and that instead of looking at the face, the doctor should go off of the patients symptoms. --And my records of the appointments I had with her through the ordeal all were an alteration of the truth. For her records to have been true, the surgeons and hospital records had to have been a lie. And it was Unity Hospital. So everyone else had to have been lying, in order for her records to have been true. I have copies of all of the records. I cannot begin to tell what torturous pain I went through for having listened to this doctor. I was left with a huge scar on the outside and was told that I would have scarring on the inside from all of the infection that went throughout my abdomen that could some day cause intestinal blockage. Had my appendix been taken out before it ruptured I would have had just a tiny scope-hole scar and pretty much no scarring inside threatening my future health. --Debra J.M. I made an appointment 2 weeks in advance for a proof of pregnancy and a referral to a midwife so my insurance would cover it. They called me an hour before the appointment to tell me they cancelled my appointment and they dont do ob/gyn services. I told them I knew that, I just needed a referral to a midwife. Not only did they not reschedule my appointment, they told me they refused to refer me to a midwife because they "dont believe in midwives." I told them midwives are not like unicorns, they are real people and medical professionals. They were unable to tell me what other specialists they would refuse to refer me to, I was curious to know which specialists they "believed in." I had to switch doctors to get referred to the services I needed.

I cant say enough good things about the people at unity, theyre always nice, helpful and accommodating. I have seen Doctor Melanie Conolly since I was born and she is the best! Shes always extremely informative so you understand everything thats going on and explains what to do to get better and why that helps you get better.

I see Dr. Ma and love her. She is very relaxed and takes her time with you. Dr. Ma is one of those doctors who is very personable; you can tell when she asks you how you have been that she really does care what you have to say. I have never felt rushed. The staff is also very nice and accomodating as well.

Bunch of idiots called in prescription days ago and they never get back now have to go out of town for a week without my prescription.
