Dr. Laurel has a true gift that over the years has continued to grow and help her furry clients and their owners. I am a true believer in holistic medicine. She provides a balanced approach to her practice through a mix of all different healing disciplines. I always feel she is trying to understand the cause of something and how to heal it versus just trying to diagnosis and treat symptoms. When I moved to Asheville I wanted a vet who could connect and understand my pup and also what I wanted. Dr. Laurel cared for my Zoe in her last few years and I couldnt have been happier. She was the only vet Zoe got excited to see in her 15 yrs. When it was time she came to my home and helped me give Zoe her wings. There is a lot of love and care throughout her practice and its truly helpful especially when you are concerned for your beloved pet. She now takes care of my two younger pups and it is always enjoyable to go to appointments. Her staff is wonderful, the office is quaint, and you leave feeling you received great care because you have. She will be my vet for as long as I have animals.

WOW.....AMAZING..... The most unbelievable experience of my life!! Dr. Laurel Davis, and her staff Linda, and Billie are truly wonderful people. I rescue older Shih Tzus from Brother Wolf and my first stop is Always Dr. Davis. She has helped me with 8 Shih-Tzus and 2 Grand dogs!!!! Everything from kidneys blocked, to needing physical therapy and energy work to the hardest of, " I am ready to go over the rainbow bridge" ! One thing that has helped me more than anything is when Dr. Davis test my dogs for foods they are allergic to. By simply changing their foods has made a world of difference to them. I would NEVER know they had allergic reactions to them! The scratching stopped immediately! I am going to also have Dr. Davis check in on my horses/mules next!! Cant wait to hear what they have to say! I HIGHLY recommend Sunvet Animal Wellness Clinic to anyone who loves their animals! For over ten years Dr. Laurel has been providing a voice to my beloved cat Delilah. Her intuitive wisdom and guidance combined with her unique ability to hear and communicate the needs of my kitty have been a true gift. Three times she was able to discover things that saved my girls life when traditional medical testing could not and provide concrete solutions that fit my cats specific needs and not just a blank prescription. Often when behaviors arise that baffle me or medical conditions present themselves she is always our trusted sage of support, healer, and guide. She provides traditional veterinary advice along with complimentary and holistic care options with the added most important benefit of being able to really ask and know what my cat needs of all those options. Laurel has brought me true comfort in all those really challenging moments of anxiety and cluelessness when you care for an animal that only says meow. She is endlessly giving of her time and expertise. We are so deeply grateful to have Laurel in our lives.

Amazing vet and vet clinic. My dog Honey gets great care and I feel that Dr. Laurel and staff have my dogs best interests at heart. Unlike other Vet. clinics they dont try to sell you on expensive medicines and things that might actually harm your dog (e.g. expensive allergy treatments that arent needed). Also Dr. Laurel will empower you and help you figure out the best way to care for your dog (or cat). She really understands animals too. My dogs tail actually wags at the clinic and she even plays with toys there. This means she is comfortable. For those of you into getting holistic care and are also open to alternative type treatments this clinic is a your answer. They provide all the standard vet care (and do a great job at that) and then go beyond with the addition of holistic care and even add in some New Age care options. Great Vet. I am 100% confident in bringing my dog to this clinic.

Dr. Davis is a true and rare gem. I brought my year old Great Dane, Borealis, in to see her for some behavioral issues. Alis was rescued at 4 months and I had a lot of questions about WHY she was exhibiting certain behaviors. With Dr. Daviss competent help, I was able to temper many of these issues and understand my pet better. During one appointment I asked Dr. Davis why she thought my pup was rolling over on her front foot when walking and playing. The response was that she might have a neurological problem and sure enough, Alis ended up having neurosurgery this past January. Dr. Davis was with us the whole way. The energy work,dietary suggestions, acupuncture, love and encouragement from her went a long way in supplementing Aliss PT and post surgery care. I have nothing but appreciation and admiration for the work Dr. Davis does and for her seemingly inherent skills.

I just started seeing Doc Laurel at Sunvet Clinic and was delighted to find all the skills and abilities I look for in a vet combined in Doc Laurels expertise and practice. Her advanced Kinesiological technique plus her ability to communicate w/the animals brings the added "perks" to her traditional Western cababilities. She is extremely knowledgeable in her holistic field and very kind and generous w/her time. The clinic is so mellow and cozy that my l8 year old mini-greyhound who has ALWAYS been extremely disturbed and have violent bouts of shaking at any other regular vet clinic did not have the slightest tremor both times we were there. The office staff (2) are equally kind and gentle besides being very efficient and helpful--questions via email or phone are always answered by the end of the day. I give Sunvet 5 stars and so glad I found Doc Laurel and the "crew".

Laurel Davis is no ordinary vet. Don’t get me wrong – she’s an extremely knowledgeable and skillful medical veterinarian (and, as long as Don and I have known her, has always been going to more trainings to keep up with the latest and best in holistic pet care). But she’s far more than that. After doing a thorough medical intake and exam, she then uses her intuitive skills to tap into a deeper source of wisdom, and putting the two together (medical and intuitive) prescribes a plan of action that, in our experience has been on the mark every time. Our cats (and she’s now cared for four of them) clearly respond to her gentle, loving attention – and, if they’ve been sick, seem to feel better after seeing her. Her bright positive attitude must be infectious, because I find myself feeling a little lighter after seeing her as well.

This past year I adopted an adorable 11 yo old dog from a great local animal rescue center. My first thought was to call Dr. Davis since past experiences with her had been so good. However, I was given a list of vets who would give me a free introductory visit and, having recently retired, I thought, "No. I cant afford her anymore." Six months later...with $1572 worth of vet visits, antibiotics, expensive, not-so-good special food, and a suggestion of another surgery...I realized I couldnt afford NOT to take my dog to Laurel Davis! Not only does she offer the kind of non-invasive care I want for my dog, in the end she turns out to be much more affordable. Laurel is a listener...and totally present. So glad I came to my senses. Several months...and no surgery...later, were all doing quite well over here.
