I read the mixed reviews before seeing Dr. Sparks, so I was curious. What I experienced was a clean, modern , efficient, and friendly office. Dr. Sparks was pleasant, quick, and also efficient. She didnt spend extra time with chit chat but she was appropriately informative as to what she was doing. And her protocols and handouts were standard office procedure. My appointment was for 9:00 am and I was asked to be there 15 minutes early for paperwork. I was, and after Dr. Sparks did a biopsy/scrape, I was out of the office at 9:06! The best part was that I was seen in a new patient appointment a week after I first called. Thats the way it should be, in my opinion. The giant dermatology office down the street couldnt give me a first appointment for two months!

Dr. Maggie Sparks is a caring and knowledgeable dermatologist, who is also very efficient. There is almost no waiting time at the office. The staff is very friendly. Its a breeze to schedule an appointment and to be seen as a first time patient, as well as re-scheduling follow ups. The doctor provides written information to take home with you regarding your medical condition. She answers all my questions with attention to the minutest detail. My wife and I have been extremely pleased with her service and caring support and will continue to see her, and would be happy to recommend her services to anyone who is looking for a caring physician and a skilled surgeon.

Dr. Sparks never even looked at my face... Came in and started firing questions and barely gave me time to answer. The few minutes she was with me were very rushed and impersonal. Told me two things to add to my diet and two to remove without ever asking whether they were or were not already in my diet. She is not at all comforting. Rather, she makes you feel like an inconvenience. She is a big advocate of transcendental meditation.... sure doesnt seem to be doing her any good. My advice... go elsewhere. This place will be a waste of time and money. Side note: The rest of her staff was very friendly and helpful.

I saw Dr Sparks and was very happy with my visit. Her staff was attentive and courteous and my wait time was short. While my visit was brief, I was given reading material pertinent to my condition that I could take home and reference. Once I got home I realized I had a few questions I had forgotten to ask. I called the office, they took my questions and called me back shortly with Dr. Sparks answers. I would recommend this office to others.

NOV.2011 BAD EXPERIENCE----ONE OF MY WORST MEDICAL EXPERIENCES!!! TO MAKE A LONG STORY SHORT, MY CONDITION WAS WORSE AFTER SEEING HER. SHE RUSHES YOU IN AND RUSHES YOU OUT--NO TIME FOR QUESTIONS. SHE DOES NOT LIKE SPENDING TIME WITH PATIENTS. THE STAFF IS VERY VERY NICE!!

I really liked Dr. Sparks. Thankfully I read reviews and expected a no nonsense patient/doctor experience. Bottom line? She is confident with her 30 years of experience and does great work. I could not have been happier with her level of care.

Dr. Sparks is wonderful - very passionate about preventing all deaths from melanoma, super efficient and quick, and very knowledgeable. My Mom and husband go to her, too. She is an amazing physician and person!
