A wonderful experience each and every time, and I never thought I would say that about going to the dentist! I have had issues with dental anxiety my entire adult life, and I never felt comfortable until I started seeing Dr. Hyman. For the past 5 years Ive driven 2 hours one way (usually making the 4 hour drive all in one day) to see "Dr. Mark" and his amazing staff. Its more than worth the drive... I get hugs every time I come into the office, they give me headphones so I can listen to music of my choice on Pandora (helps decrease my dental anxiety) and they warm up a big fluffy blanket and cover me up from my feet to my neck so I dont get cold. Yes, really! I grew up overseas and have had access to some of the most excellent dental offices found abroad and in the US, but no office has ever come close to providing the exceptional level of care and concern for the patient that Dr. Hymans office does. Plus, he is just the biggest sweetheart on the planet. He is a genuinely wonderful person, and its reflected in his staff and the work they do. He has done crowns on my front teeth twice, and they look incredible. My husband and I joke that they look better than my original teeth! (its true). They do custom matching for crowns so they match your other teeth as closely as possible. This office also picked up on my misaligned jaw, which I had never brought to their attention, and got me fitted with a bite guard, which has greatly reduced my jaw pain and has reduced my chances of having to have surgery to correct it later in life. I could go on forever... please consider "Dr. Mark" and his wonderful team if youre looking for a new dentist, choosing their office is one of the best decisions Ive ever made.

A couple of points Id like to make. 1. My first visit, I sat down with Mark in the office and we chatted for a few minutes. Basically he wanted to get to know his patients which I really dont see many dentists do. We then proceeded to take pictures around the inside of my mouth after a small tour of the dentistry. - With todays technology, every dentist should be taking pictures inside of mouths and not just x-rays because it help to build a more accurate medical history. -We looked over the pictures and found a couple places where old metal fillings were allowing cavities to form under them. Got one of them fixed, probably the most painless filling Ive ever had. 2. I can tell Mark loves his job but hes brilliant at marketing himself. He understands how important it is to build relationships with his clients. Hes also very much about getting customer reviews because it helps him to see how well hes doing and to better himself. Hes the first dentist Ive seen this critical about doing a good job on people and not just getting clients in and out. 3. He has a great staff, you can tell that the people love their jobs there and there is a sense of comrade in the office. Its rare to find a good team like this, and honestly I believe if Mark had a heart attack, his team could pickup where he left off. So either way, your in good hands.

I rarely leave reviews, but I have to compliment this practice. Since I found Dr. Hymans dentistry I actually look forward to my dental visits! I have been treated by many members of his team and each of the hygienists makes me feel incredibly comfortable. The entire staff is kind, yet efficient and knowledgeable; any question I have had about dental care and practice they have been able to help me with and I feel valued as soon as I step in the door. My visits are also much more comfortable because they use cutting edge technology. Every procedure I have experienced whether it be fillings, fluoride, getting fit for a night guard or even cleanings, the work is done almost painlessly and I have been able to eat immediately after and continue my day as usual. I feel very confident with the care I receive and I truly enjoy being there, so much so that I continue to call Dr. Hyman my dentist even though I now live in Chapel Hill! Its worth the drive to Greensboro and I would recommend this practice to any friend.

I have been in and out of dentist chairs my whole life for one problem or another, but never experienced anything like my visits with Dr. Hyman and his team. Not only did they take the time to get to know me and my dental history, they laid out a plan to bring my dental nightmares to an end and gave me the best thing a girl could ask for; a beautiful smile! Lauren and Tina are amazing and make visiting the dentist like visiting with old friends. With them, the time flies by and there is no anxiety about the actual procedures. The technology is the best Ive seen, which not only makes for a more comfortable visit, but less discomfort throughout the procedures. I think I may have actually fallen asleep once! Dr. Hymans expertise is unsurpassed, his vision remarkable, and compassion heartwarming. My dental saga would have continued into the abyss had it not been for Dr. Hyman and his team and I will be forever grateful. I would highly recommend Dr. Hyman and his team for any dental needs.

Always a great experience! My entire family have been patients of Dr. Hyman for close to 25 years and have NEVER experienced an issue. He and his team run a first class operation and are top notch in their field. They maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ALWAYS treat you with the utmost courtesy and care. I always feel like my care and well being is their number one priority. I never question the care I receive, nor what I pay to receive that care, because they have my total trust. Its obvious to me that Dr Hyman and his team work very hard to maintain that patient trust every day, one patient at a time. They combine impeccable care with a heartwarming personal touch...AND they always make me feel appreciated and important. Our family feels the same way about them. Im convinced we have the best in the business when it comes to dental care, and a doctor/staff who really cares about me and my family. It doesnt get much better than that.

This morning was by far the best dentist visit Ive experienced or even imagined. The level of detail they go through to make you feel comfortable is impressive. Its not some artificial BS either, they are very loving and seem to have a passion for giving a very comfortable and quality dental visit. I immediately felt I could trust Dr. Hymans judgement and experience, and did not feel as though he was overselling the procedures. He also made no harsh judgement of my lack of upkeep of my teeth, I didnt feel embarrassed at all, just excited to face the reality of my current situation and do something about it. I didnt have a whole lot of money to spend, but im very grateful I went to him because he made it so worth it. I couldnt even feel the novacaine needle because he is so gentle and careful. Man I cant tell you how much better I feel since I decided to go in, so stop reading reviews and schedule you an appointment now!
