I adopted a dog from a local Akron rescue and when I got her medical papers, I saw that she had been treated for heartworm by the vets at Bath Veterinary Clinic. I decided to try going there for her post-adoption check-up and follow-up care. I absolutely loved BVC and have continued going to them ever since with the rest of our animals as well. Its a small clinic, with two vets practicing, so you have very personal care - everyone will know who you are and will remember your pets. The vet care is extremely knowledgable and when we have needed some diagnostics, we have been sent to their sister hospital, Metropolitan, that is only a few minutes away. I love that the vets have access to state-of-the-art things like digital x-rays, CT scans and even MRIs - just like in a human hospital. That has made all the difference in at least one diagnosis with one of our dogs. I really cannot say enough positive about Bath Veterinary Clinic - they are knowledgeable, warm and friendly. They have day care and boarding available, which for me is huge, since I have a dog with a special condition and knowing that she is in a veterinarian-supervised boarding situation makes me far more comfortable about boarding her when we travel. Also - and this is huge for me - BVC does a lot of rescue work - I love that they reach out to help local rescues. Theyll be seeing our pets as long as we are in this area!

I have been taking my Bichon Frisé, Sasha to BVC for about ten years. Sasha recently underwent surgery by Dr. Smith to remove some growths from her body and for a teeth cleaning. The work was exceptional, and I cannot give enough praise for the care and compassion that both Sasha and I received. Dr. Smith even called today as a follow-up to see how things were going. Sasha is recovering nicely and is healthier than ever at ten years old. BVC and Dr. Smith are among the best around.

Dr. Smith and her staff are awesome. I have a very crazy double doodle that loves socks. Dr. Smith has gone out of her way on multiple occasions to conservatively and appropriately treat her. Our dog has also been boarded at the clinic on several occasions and we were super pleased.
