I am extremely impressed with Dr. Holloway and the staff at Southside Animal Clinic. I was a frantic mommy of a four year old dog calling to schedule a new patient appointment and they were able to schedule me for the same day. They are accommodating to your schedule and if they keep your pet throughout the day, they call to keep you informed on how your pet is doing. In fact, Dr. Holloway himself spoke to me on the phone and told me bit by bit what he discovered about my dogs health and how he plans on clearing up the issue. Southside Animal Clinics staff are sweet and gentle, and you can really tell they love making sure the pets and their owners are taken proper care of. I will be using this vet from now on, and feel confident my dog is in good hands.

This vet was amazing! This was my first visit, I brought my 16 month old dog in due to pale gums and a slight worm issue. Dr Holloway was prompt and to the point, performed a checkup and diagnosed her with mild hook and tape worms. Service was great and it was a pleasant atmosphere in the clinic. The dr was able to work with me on the fees and I left with necessary treatment and another scheduled appointment. I will definitely be making this my pets primary vet. I left feeling completely satisfied that the Dr and his assistant actually cared for the wellbeing of my pet and werent out just to make a buck. Would absolutely recommend this office to anyone!

I am also new to the area and chose this vet based on the previous reviews...and Im grateful I did! Dr. Holloway is awesome - he treated my dogs (for cat scratch fever) on Christmas day and was as genuine as they come. He knew what he was doing and was very informative. He sacrificed his time on the most special day of the year to provide excellent care to my furry family members. With it being a holiday, I was only able to meet one of the other staff members and he was also knowledgeable and friendly. The facility was clean and my dogs felt at ease. Im fortunate to have found such a wonderful veterinarian! I cant thank you enough!! :)

Dr. Holloway and his staff were very accommodating with my cat. He became sick very quickly and they were very helpful. Dr. Holloway was kind enough to step away with another patient & owner to help answer questions when I stopped by. Sadly, Dr. Holloway discovered additional issues that would affect my cats quality of life. I was surprised that he cried with me when he knew the best choice was to free him from any additional suffering. His staff let me stay as long as I wanted to say my goodbyes to a loyal and loving pet I knew more than a third of my life. I wouldnt recommend anyone else for your pet.

We love Southside Animal Clinic!! From the clean appearance of the office, to the friendly front desk and Dr. Holloway, our experience was fantastic! We had seen another vet in town and never felt as though they cared a great deal for our pets. Dr.Holloway spent time explaining treatment and didnt mind that we still had questions. He was patient with us and Im confident he was thorough in his treatment for our dog. Our pets are part of our family and I appreciated that they were treated as such. We have found our new vet and cant wait for our check-up in 2 weeks. Thank you guys!

Called to make an appointment for my dog who woke up with a horrendous rash covering his entire stomach. When I talked to the receptionist she immediately told me there were no appointments and couldnt see him until 3 days later. At no point did she ask me what was wrong with my dog or why I wanted to come in.Their website states that they take urgent cases without appointments with a longer wait time. i just moved to the Jacksonville area and this is not what should be expected from an animal clinic. Will continue to look for a clinic that care about the health of animals.

Im new to the area and am lucky to have found a great clinic on the first try. My friend in the area recommended this place to me and Im glad that he did. As others had mentioned, they treat your pet as theyre their own. Full of friendly faces and everyone is very kind. I had the pleasure to meet Alex and Dr. Dobbin. Since Im new to Florida, they helped me understand the new risks my pet would encounter and how to affordability protect her. This was the most friendly experience Ive had since moving here and is an awesome first impression.

I give this clinic 5 stars!! Ive been coming here for years and LOVE the staff and Doctors! They make you feel welcomed from the second you walk into the door til when your leaving and even giving you an extra hand out if needed. I also love going in there and not even knowing you were in a vet because of how clean it is and it does not smell like a vet. I advise everyone to go to this office for the best care for your pets and because the staff there cares!

I am new to area and thought my previous vet was the best thing in the world but I was wrong. I was impressed when I walked in and first noticed how it did not smell like a vet clinic. Everybody was very nice and new what was going on. My buddy Rosco was treated very nicely like he had always been going there. All in all I was very impressed and now have a new standard to veterinary care. Thanks again for everything you all did!!!!!

Dr. Holloway and his staff provide a friendly, attentive experience for pet owners. I took my mini-dachshund for skin issues and the staff was very helpful. There was no wait when I arrived for my appointment and every staff member I encountered was friendly. A big plus is that they are reasonably priced! I definitely will be a long-term customer.

Ive been using the services of Southside Animal Clinic for a few years now and they are AWESOME. They always take wonderful care of my pets, answer all my questions, and just all-around do everything wonderfully. I literally have NO problems with them whatsoever, they rock!

Weve been taking our dog here for a couple of years now. The vets and staff really seem to care. We also have begun bording our dog, its less expensive than Pet Paradise and they really treat our dog well. They often text us pictures of our dog so we know she is happy.

Review amended: Sorry Dr Holloway. Your front office person was rude and unpleasant. She was almost gleeful when you referred me to an oncologist. Still bothers me to this day. Anyway, we have a new dog now who will not be going to Southside Animal Clinic for that reason.
